Day 46 Sweet garden aromas this morning

Standard procedure with watering RO water with CalMag. They get they’re next feeding the upcoming weekend.

All very healthy looking. Looks like the change in feed schedule and training to keep them smaller has helped. Very happy with the eye test. Lots of frost in here!

Grappa from Mephisto is one frosty little lady

Smells like a candy grape with some small gas on the back end. Very nice

Laughing Gas is going to be super dank herb. Super sweet bubblegum gas right now.

Chemical Romance is an amazing smelling plant. Complex terpenes with citrus sweet pine, gas and spice too

Going to be a special smoke for sure

Orange Biscuit is one of my ALL TIME favorite strains. Happy to have both phenotypes, this one being the more Orange fruity with a little vanilla funk. The other is the Citrus cookies with a gassy zip.

This is the Double Grape x Strawberry Nuggets. You can actually see a little pink in the center of the buds on both plants I have.

Smells like a grape fruity with this bittersweet funk.

Completely different bud structure on this Fairy cake . Wide and dense plant with that same bud style. Vanilla sweet gas ️

The Grappa is a very pretty plant

How are you not getting salt buildup without watering to runoff?


Morning Gents

I grow all different strains so they drink differently. I water until I get a tiny bit of runoff from the thirstiest plant. They also get top flushed weekly

I dropped 2 of my DWC reservoirs down to only about 1.5 - 2 gallons of water. The roots are still reaching it just fine.

I also added a dose of potassium silicate adequate for 2 gallons of nutrient water.

I want to see if this will produce results similar to what I saw with kratky hydroponics, where roots above the water water line will bulk out in order to absorb the moisture and nutrients out of the humidity in the bucket.

When I used a transfer pump and dropped the water level in both the buckets, I was surprised to see a LOT of root material pieces floating around. And this is my veg tent with a pretty light weight air pump setup. I am curious if I will see more root growth and/or root growth not damaged from the aerator.

If I see improvements from this, I may consider buying some hoses and setting up a RDWC system with a central reservoir, which would make adding and removing nutrient a lot easier, and I could violently aerate the central reservoir without causing any impact on the plants.

Only did that to the 2 plants in the back.

The ones in the front are my Blue Gelato and Blackberry Gum, and I do not want to mess around with this, I'll just do what I know has worked well.

When growing 10-12 week Autoflowering strains, without high frequency fertiagiton, can you top, and LST, or would combing techniques cause too much stress?
