I was listening to the podcast cannabis cultivation science (11) and they actually had Dr Faust on from Bioag. He was saying some deposits worked wonders. Other deposits were either no change or even worse. Now I never caught why but immediately after he started talking about Fulvic vs Humic Acids. I was guessing not all deposits have the same ratio or possibly even any appreciable amounts fulvic acids???I think so, because its made from leonardite or whatever, you can't make one without the other. Someone in the Q&A section on amazon addressed it.
That's 150ppm per gallon of water
It even says on the back, 150ppm for hydroponics
1 ppm is 1ml/L
3.7 liters to a gallon
So 3.7 ml x 150 = 555ml to a gallon of water.
Wait. There is no way.
Someone tell me I'm wrong on this.
You do want to use Humic acid 5 parts and Kelp 2 parts in hydro but you do need to keep an eye out for microbe growth. It can form a bio-film that reduces oxygen absorption. It can cause PH to go down as the colonies grow. You want them you just need to control your res. All part of a good hydro grow. Not only did my diva cucumber seeds finally come, they sprouted in a crazy fast amount of time. Just put a seedling in a quart mason jar of nutrient.
I was told not to add humic acid to hydroponics because it would cause a bacteria stew, but the humic acid I bought has a measurement on it for hydroponics use, so I think its sterile. So I added a few drops with a pipette, along with some seaweed extract and si. I'd really like this sucker to take off and give me a ton of cukes this summer.
No Sir. I’m from the dirty south but usually live in Chicago when I‘m not caregiving for my elderly parents or working abroad. But I loved our trips to the Twin Cities, great people, fun scene and was only detained once!
