Ha!!! I used to be able to play the 5th and the whole Crossroads end thing, but that's the extent of my Paganini. Always impressive what certian guitarists can do, but 'Ill leave that to them. I like to have a good time and party too much much to be that technical.

I think that's where most of us stopped lol.

Hubby turns 40 next Sunday and is having a bit of a panic about it so I'm sure thats playing into his anxieties as well lmao.

I don't see why people get anxious about aging. You've been doing it your whole life...why stress now?

Hes got a family history of men on his mom's side suddenly dieing at 37ish so he wasn't really expecting to make it this far and now he's faced with the sudden realization that he hasn't accomplished any of the things he wanted to. I've been trying for years to get him to get his GED but he's got this major fear of failure (yay complex trauma and abuse) so he gives up before he ever gets started since its been 20+ years and he doesn't remember how to do any of it. So I think that one in particular really weighs heavy on him.

Happened again today (the no one waking up till its time to go thing) so I've launched a full out investigation into why tf none of our alarms have been going off. I think alexa and our cell phones are conspiring against us or something lmfao.

Lol thanks for the rep @Bill.de.Cat (speaking of Bills, anyone hear from @WildBill lately? Hope he's ok). He gave me *so* much shit last year for turning 30 (as if I had any choice in the matter lol) but I was pretty unfazed by it considering I'd already been through more than most of the people I'd graduated with lmao. Shoved nearly 2 decades of being into an adult into 10ish years so wtf am I supposed to be worrying about. I could be mean and do the same to him but he's already stressed enough so I won't. I remember when my dad turned 40 his coworkers filled his office with black balloons and "over the hill" decor and I never really understood what the big deal was.
