Do you eat the nasturtium flowers? .. That blooming flower is pretty .. a crocus or something?

Me first Freesia @Kyote ...it smells divine......

.....Promise of Spring...

I've used nasty nurtiums..rosemary and borage flowers in me salads....but hubby is a bit of a bore abut it......

So the nasties serve as my early warning system.....I've seen cabbage whites on them already..and normlly I get the first black fly invasion on them...they are tender..Pests go there first.....

When the caterpillars appear....I cut the infected areas off...an go feed them to the chickens...caterpillar wraps.....what the Hispter chickens eat ....

I'm good thanks, we're enjoying a couple of days of sun - bit nippy, but no complaints! If it carries on like this I'll be ordering a bag of soil
