Hey for starters man; what's the issue here? How is this a pissing match? If you complete a documented grow and do a review, you qualify for the badge if it's a breeder badge. That's it. There's no competition at all with this, it's proof you did something. Like a "I Voted Sticker." Zero pee-pee involved.

As far as CC goes and the breeders/vendors on the site; let's talk about a pink elephant in the room. We did lose some steam after the domain change, no one is being bashful or pussy footing around with that statement. Ryan, the person that owned the .net domain, was threatening to try to sell the entire forum to the highest bidder, regardless of who it was, because he's a convicted felon in Canada and a broke bitch.

Then covid. Which changed everything for everyone.

We're working on increasing our traffic, we're steadily seeing more and more pages being logged by Google analytics (which is great for finding us,) and we're actively reaching out to new companies to see who wants to be part of this community. Right now we have a representative from Herbies that just joined (that I'm in PM's with,) and there's a developer of a highly popular phone app that simulates a PAR sensor that we're working on bringing aboard.

Also, these breeders and companies are offering up product for FREE, to growers like you that they've never met, and are taking OUR good word on that you guys are worth a shit. AFN does not cater to entitlement. We also have an active thread going on where we've been asking how we can improve on things with the testing, how it works, etc. I recommend you redirect some of this energy to that.

Well said! I see the badges like Pokemon haha, gotta catch ‘em all! Its like a game to play. And nobody has to take part in any tests they dont want to! I see a bright future and alot of things happening here. I just want to be a part of the fun. I also have future plans of breeding amd want to grow as many different strains as possible so i have a better idea of the plant as a whole. CC allows me to do that, i feel like im learning alot and there is so much more to learn! Plus, idle hands do the devil’s work! If im not busy then im getting in trouble lol.

Yeah of course but when I joined site stan from meph along with others were pretty active on here, and there were a good amount of people testing that kind of gear which is why I signed up. But it's all good I got a shoebox full of seeds I need to run through. Had better luck on reddit getting noticed honestly with as much as i hate reddit. Daz actually reposted one of my pictures from there of starfox and mothman and some random seed bank actually used that photo as the main photo to sell the seed which was pretty cool they used my photo over the stock photo originally posted by the breeder. I got a 4 year old i got to chase around man I don't have time to chase grown men around trying to get noticed so I can score some free seeds.

Yeah idk badges just seem like a pissing match at this point. I'm good on all of that. @Mossy you can take my cultivators badge too please I'm not going to do anymore test grows as of now if i change my mind ill "re-apply" . Wasn't what I thought it was going to be honestly. Thought having that CC badge was gonna get me more offers to test but there wasn't really much in 2023 or 2024. The timing is ALWAYS off, More photo period test grows than anything and breeders only selecting certain people which kinda turned me off to the whole thing. I have so many seeds i paid for and it's not worth the hassle to grow and journal and review for some random company/breeder. I was hoping to get some offers from meph, night owl, gnome, fast buds, twenty/20 or anything from known breeders really, but just seems like the amount of breeders sponsoring test grows dropped dramatically after the domain change. I will continue to journal and be active on site but the whole CC thing is not really active like I thought it would be.

I’m gonna go for the record of the most years on site without a badge to show for!
