Badges were reinstated 2025...so I'm not sure if they are only available for grows done in 2025......I certainly don't think they should go back any further than 2024....but.. let's get a discussion going.
Also...as far as I knew...Only show grow and Competition Sponsored seed are supposed to qualify for the New Badges...so I'm not clear on the Mephisto one...coz the only member with Mephisto sponsored seed is @N/A-Greengo as far as I know...
Yeah idk badges just seem like a pissing match at this point. I'm good on all of that. @Mossy you can take my cultivators badge too please I'm not going to do anymore test grows as of now if i change my mind ill "re-apply" . Wasn't what I thought it was going to be honestly. Thought having that CC badge was gonna get me more offers to test but there wasn't really much in 2023 or 2024. The timing is ALWAYS off, More photo period test grows than anything and breeders only selecting certain people which kinda turned me off to the whole thing. I have so many seeds i paid for and it's not worth the hassle to grow and journal and review for some random company/breeder. I was hoping to get some offers from meph, night owl, gnome, fast buds, twenty/20 or anything from known breeders really, but just seems like the amount of breeders sponsoring test grows dropped dramatically after the domain change. I will continue to journal and be active on site but the whole CC thing is not really active like I thought it would be.
Found a little mold in the Blappleberry I was growing, so I made the decision to go ahead and cut the 2 plants a few weeks earlier than I had wanted. They are still good to go, I just wanted a higher amber percentage in the flowers.
The 2 plants on the left.
Both had some really nice size flowers.
And I had crossed a branch of each of them with a reversed Runtz plant.
This is just from one of them.
So I have Blappleberry x Runtz and Witness Protection x Runtz.
The seeds are in tubs in my office fridge to desiccate for a few days. Then this weekend I will pick through and remove any plant matter, small or white seeds.
Easily several hundred seeds each though.
And I have to say I was SUPER impressed with Speedrun. Both plants produced really nice resiny flowers, Both grew fast and flowered late for an auto. I would definitely recommend them if you haven't given them a try.
