Always wanted a vette. Probably the grow room now.
I'm hoping I can do both this year. If this one thing works out, I may get the Vette first and then at least get the shell of the grow room built.

It's just that I am not getting any younger and it's been since I had a real fun sports car to drive. I'd love to bring my Mach1 back to the streets, but that's just one big huge project for the way that I would want to do it.

A C5 Corvette is an extremely good value, with 2001-2003 the least problematic years. I just want a reasonably clean stock/near stock with about 50K miles. There's lots of them out there! Vettes may have their little quirks, but they are extremely reliable and very easy to work on for the most part. Other than bypassing some of the silly designs that Chevy did on some things, about the only other modifications I would do is an aftermarket axle back exhaust, cold air intake and some different comfortable seats. Nothing crazy. Maybe a coil over set up for better handling AND a more comfortable ride.................and NOT to lower it. It's already low enough. I really don't like lowered Vetts. I have built them for customers and I just hate the extra precautions you have to take when driving them, way more than you have to anyway.

And with a manual 6 speed, you can easily knock down 26 to 29 miles per gallon with the cruise control set on 70!

1st couple years I was on probation they didn't wear gloves. So you could "theoretically" piss all over the cup and then hand it to your probation officer to mail :haha:

I toured a hotdog factory once, I was interviewing for a QC job in the lab. One call back I was glad not to get.
I held training for underwriters in an effort to try to get them into larger market accounts. And for some strange reason I got quite a few of these large processing plants to do property and casually evaluations with jurisdictional inspections on their pressure wrestle ie boilers.
Those are some damn disgusting places! :face: :hump::hump::hump::hump:

I worked for 30 years in the Mixer division of Philadelphia Gear. I spent two years in the rebuild/repair dept. 60% of our business was sewage plant mixers, and the rest were chemical mixers. We had to power wash everything before we touched it or brought it inside.

I don't think I'd be very envious of that position! :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :hump::hump:
