Everyone have a wonderful day, we are off to a Derby Party! It is Kentucky and derby parties are extremely important. The women's hats and fascinators are a really really big deal.

Hats: Big, ostentatious numbers

Fascinator: Smaller off kilter but still wild designs

I'll throw some money at a couple horses later. Been reading the program for a couple days and I have some picks that might do well. Several horses have died the past couple days unexpectedly and from "unexplained" reasons. Illegal drugging of the horses is a continuing problem. Always some behind the scenes dirt at any big event.

Look at the tiny fuzzy baby that came to visit in the garden today! I couldn't get a good picture cause he was scared of me and kept trying to hide when I'd try to get close.

They're extra cool cause they flower all up and down the stalk instead of just at the top
