Lmfao talk about making life difficult! Why would u use those stupid things u gott best to death with a hammer only to turn em into smaller pieces that will never disintegrate from your soil when u could just use the bits and topdress couple tablespoons easy peasy? Dunks are made to go into pools of standing water like ponds or birdbaths/ fountains whereas the bits are pretty much ready to go and not the consistency of powdered drywall!

The dunks I’ve used are just compressed bits….break em up, top dress the same as bits. Totally works, and what not.

That’s what I was doing until someone in here mentioned that they will ferment or rot in the soil something along those lines and not be good for the plants :shrug:
It's the same chemical(bacteria) regardless of method?
