I have only grown my bonsai in small pots and they have all taken longer than the same strain grown unmolested in the cabinet. @Sawney_bean made a post yesterday that indicated from his experience that hybrid plants that are manipulated/stressed will take longer to harvest.PITA.....
..if I want a male in a hurry...I always germ into a small ot for fastest results to sex....

In my opinion, you can have too much info. It’s weed. It’s nature. It’s never going to be perfect….do the best you can…but remember. It’s weed. We like it because it helps us chill, relax, enjoy. That should start with the growing process.
A 5x5 gives plenty of room, certainly makes up for the room lost to walls being sucked in by the fan. It’s the perfect size for 6, 5 gallon pots and a thousand watt or equivalent light.
A 4x4 turns into a 3x3 when the walls get sucked in….
