They still spray it on the coast in the south east to control mosquitoes. Was thinking about that earlier as outside my house looks like a friggin disco from the fireflies! That spray kills those too so you don't see them till you get pretty far inland

Pretty sure they still use them in phoenix….or they did a few years prior to covid. Woulda been easier to not dig that big ass lake in the middle of town and not give them an environment..
