Hey @PinkyNotTheBrain u around? What the fuck is this contraption welded (it looms like) under kitchen sink faucet? Have i just not watched enough videos to come across another sink with this? Need to change faucet today so wanna make sure i am doing it right!

If it’s supposed to be there its rusty as shit from faucet leaking so prob needs to be changed to just not sure how!

That should be the actual faucet, the outside part is a clamp.

It's not just meant to act as a washer for the faucet head? Thinking it spreads the leverage out for the faucet head
