I am older than a lot of you and I remember the gas pump wars between Shell, Phillips and Mobil Oil in the mid 60s. I can remember Paying $0.23 per gallon. For $10 you could put gas in the car take a girl out on a date to McDonalds and a drive inn movie with sodas and pop corn and still have change.

Today Gas for the date $20 if everything is close, Dinner (You cannot take a girl to McDonald's if you want a second date.) $50+, movie and popcorn with soda $50 :yoinks: Glad I don't have to do that anymore

The hell you taking girls to McDonalds for dates for? Jeez, that has nothing to do with the price of gas OR the price of rice in China! You cheap ass haha! Does she have legs? She can WALK to McDonalds with you, you know how many carbohydrates are in a Big Mac?

Do you have battery back up for your girls for the brown and blackouts this summer?
Bill you mean like this:

Oh I misread what you wrote. I still stand behind what I said. Mwahaha
When I was in high school girls were happy to go to Micky Ds and I assure you even the "Big" ones I dated never ordered more than a cheese burger $0.33 Fries $0.26 and shake $0.35.

See, you should start a restaurant that tries to offer those old prices, but in order to make your margins, you'd have to buy like... "almost bad" potatoes, and "questionably safe" beef. But that's how you keep your prices low. Does the town have a feral cat problem? Bam. Now you're solving TWO problems.

*tapping head*

I'm a problem solver. Solution provider. Some say... a whiskey drinking neurosurgeon.

Dude. Sick!!! Thats what I want to do some day. Im only 36 now so I got time. Just paid our house off a year ago but really want solar power as well. Thats nice bud!!!
Thanks, We are in our third year and my timing was very good indeed. The payment is $265 on the solar system. If I paid for my Kwh with PG&E now it would be over $325. a month average. So I am $60 to the good and PG&E will have two price increases this year alone. The battery was 10K and it really did not pencil out. I use a CPAP at night and getting up to fire up the generator in the middle of the night during a power failure is no fun. So I bought the battery. The bonus is it will run my grow room without issue :pass:
