mine never smelled like that......think the pheno is a hold over from Mossy's stuff....most likely wrong though.

Mine was sugary the whole way from flower to cure. Most similar to hubbabubbasmelloscope for me. Big, loose buds. I tried another one outdoors last summer but it never had a chance. Green leaves, all purple flower. Purple sift. I would love a cat piss one. Haven't smoked a cat piss/ammonia strain since mid 90s probably. I've seen there's a 2020 mendo one that I might have to try
