I'm busting to get to my local garden centre to pick up a comfrey plant for fermentation. I picked up a pre brewed batch (bo off an organic soil web site In the uk to try out. I added it to my compost tea at the end. Never seen my lady's react so fast to an input. Preying within the hour, I could just tell that there was some special in that furment. Only down side it f-ing stinks bad as it's an anaerobic ferment. But I do think it worth the hassle and smell.
Grandma used to make comfrey ferments in her crock pots that she made her sauerkraut. She grew her own and she always made me harvest it soon after a rain. I guess it was to make sure the plant was cleaner and the bacteria are still intact.
Next time you have a big grow with a heavy defol.....ferment all that!
I've juiced a bunch of defol, gave the juice to the plants and fed the bulk to my worms. Worms LOVE that stuff!

Thought about doing me a worm bin or 2 but the damn summer heat we get would be a right pain to try controlling to keep em going...got any good vids on it WB or should I just surf YT about it.

I got buds all over my vines, the self starters and the ones I grew out over the winter....none on the white variety though, just the purples....

I actually wanted the purple/more common one coz over here I've seen them set fruit.....but I was looking over a tray for the best plant.....and didn't realise it had mixed ones in.
I didn't notice til I got it home.....

Helping my roses for sure.

Hmmmmmm............

Ton of vids out there. Making a bin outta a couple totes, bricks and a bit of screen wire with hot glue is the cheapest and easiest to do. Where you are, you'll need to do it inside. There are many ways of doing it outside in the heat, but they are quite a bit more involved and much larger than the casual and not so casual canna grower could ever use. I had a bath tub bin in one of my root cellars I made. It worked well and kept the temps well regulated. It was just far from the house and garden.

Thanks Bill will do that. Just started my research on furments and I had planned to do that on the next flower run, ferment that defol pile.
I recently started my own worm bin in the GR only inputs are from the garden, veggie peelings and the non eaten fruit from downstairs. So far so good, about a month away from harvesting my first tray. Looking forward to the teas it brews. At the moment I get my worm casting from the fishing bait shop. It's not bad but I reckon my own will blow it out the water seen as they are only fed on tree bark.

That's what I gathered from the few I watched...I'm limited on my space and they would have to be outside next to one of the sheds in the shade....still might start on a setup to try it out in the fall.

got Borage....coz it self seeds in the garden and grows wit the winter rains...so it is good to rotovate in in Spring...or mulch the apple tree......plus it flowers lovely Blue when there is not much else

Since moving I haven't touched this out door garden yet ( indoor has taken that time up a bit) it's getting a full landscape job as we have our extension built on the side of the house towards thd end of the year (if I can find some builders).
My plan is to fill the garden with as much beneficial plants for up stairs that I can use in compost and ferments. If I can get my garden over to full organic I will. No so much for the ideology of organic but to save on those bought inputs. Borage sound a must, I love the classic English country garden, the more flowers the happy I am. Just wish I could grow my fzv flowers out side.

I'm experimenting with my own super soil at the moment, have the one plant in the main flower room. Getting great flavours but laking in weight and tricomb production by a long way. Even bud structure is different from my synthganic grows. Still aways to go before I'm happy.

This physical therapy program is gonna be a bitch. I went in pretty ripped and just finished a canna coffee. It's a good thing I did! I think I would have been sweating my ass off from the pain if I hadn't.
At least I got the triple play yesterday.....work out, acupuncture and lastly, another adjustment.
Workouts are three days a week, but I only get the triple play on Mondays.
I was hurting pretty bad when I got home. A good bit was the normal workout pain and that's good, but there was...and still is......a bunch of nerve pain. It only took three workouts, but the nerve pain started going down the other leg. I figured this was going to happen, just not expecting it this soon.

At least the acupuncture was very relaxing while high or I was able to relax better while listening to some chill music. I'm gonna ask if they can pipe in some different white noise in while I'm waiting.
