Crazy that it's almost 4th of July. Pretty much all the plants and insects here are like 2-3 weeks behind where they normally are at this time of year. We don't even have yellow jackets flying around yet. Hopefully that'll help my outdoor plants but I'm blaming global warming. Anybody else notice things outside being later then normal?

I think it is a nice idea but I would be wary of sharing personal information any more than we already do. Obviously if you build a relationship through posts and talk with someone often you may be more apt to share and feel safe about it. It would probably be difficult but, perhaps if there was a 3rd party that we sent items to who could or would list it on consignment to anonymize the seller/buyer.
Also, even a decent light can be had for pretty cheap these days and I suspect if someone is going high-end they already know what the want to buy. I notice a lot of us are quite particular.
We've been getting a little later year by year here for a minute now, but it's kinda drastic this year. Normally the bees and wasps appear here around the last week of March, but nothing really until mid April this year. We should be getting stung by stuff now but they're still just getting started. My outdoor plants usually get wrecked by white flies mid September, but, if things are a couple weeks late I might be ok for once
