If you can get those plastic barrels for $15, I am amazed. The last ones I saw for sale here were close to $200. Luckily, I beachcombed one, and was given another by a friend who no longer needed it. I find them perfect for melting snow in prior to mixing up nutes, and/or just supplying straight water to a water only grow. If I got them for $15, I likely have three or four of them.

If i had a truck i would have 20 of them in my back yard turned into sips by cutting them in half, making 2 composters, 2-3 rain barrels
They also sell those 295gallon totes for cheap cheap, my mom bought 3 and cut out dog doors at the bottom for her pit bulls, diy doghouses

I finished up the soil and stacked up my 5 layer greenstalk planter with 1 cu of soil for each layer and i still ended up with a kiddie pool of soil left over which i dumped into a 30 gallon tote and the lid barely fit on

why to late? nothing is potted up yet

I'd just add it at the pot now. Way too much work to get it even at this point.

Well i farted around all day but finally got this thing together and its pretty cool, i am planning out which veggies to plant as it is kinda late in the season but i don't care i'll take clones of the good peppers and start early next spring.

So u fill the top up by hand or am i missing sometin ? And how do the lower potz stay as wet as the uppers? Or maybee they don't?
