I'm running 4 girls using BT line - really happy so far with the grow. But soon I will have to manage the space so :
Can someone direct me to some important readings about topping please ?
All I know is that it can be done above 4th node. I posted a photo in my related post.
I'm a bit nervous, looks like I'm going to kill her lol

ive topped at 2-5 nodes with no issues, i broke a pepper plant outside in half 4 days later the side shoots were taller than what i broke. plants are amazing at regrowing

This is how i make my DIY earthboxes if anyone wants a HUGE earthbox for half the cost, the only thing i would change is on his design is maybe lower the soil tray you don't need 12 gallons of water in the res LOL

@Mossy, A quick question for you if you don't mind... What size pots did /do you like when you were doing breeding projects?

20-25 ltrs...around 5 gallon @Cerebral Goo .... ....the round black pots are 20 ltr builders buckets.


I had a square 25 ltr pot which was better for mass planting....but the sun was brutal on the polystyrene....

Decent Rule of Tumb...1 plant x 1 ltr/2 pints compo.........which is more than what the Solo Cup growers have.....

I had the measure out to check the floor space it takes up....32inches x 32 inches by about 3.5ft high...........

I've Seen over 40 pheno types....males and females...and I've got 21 Females left in there......

Ramps up your Selection process doing them 40 at a time....
