Good Morfnoevight All! EO.

I would check the PH of your inputs and hit them with a foliar spray of Earth Juice MicroBlast or Kelp & Fulvic Acid. They are showing a bit of Micro Deficiency.
Thanks amigo! I have a fermented kelp product I can use plus ful power! I do also have tm7 if u think I should just topwater in the micro stuff?

Also while u are here can u hit me with the link for the RO setup u use por favor? I usually refill jugs at Walmart 10 at a time but these plants suck down over 3gal in 24hrs and that’s in veg so I’m gonna need to start filling my own jugs here! :d5:

Guess maybe I should use my ph probe and check ph of soil cuz they been water only so far so no input ph checking needed! ;)

Don't do it in the dirt if you want the posts to last more than 5 years.

These posts have been in service for 18+ years without any sign of rot!

Good catching my omission of gravel at the post base! Was a little, as my wife calls it, Stunk last night. Stoned and drunk! I also use a product called Hydro Stop on the bottom and up to grade of wood posts. It is an elastomeric roofing liquid that can be brushed on. Wasn't gonna suggest that as it $200+ and only sold in 5 gallons. My mentor used roofing tar. Overkill either way. With a little maintenance(the key) no reason it shouldn't last 30+ years. Have restoration projects in SF and Alameda that are almost 25 years old and going strong!

The sohum rep i talked to told me to mix half sohum and half another lighter mix soil for planting seeds so the soils not so hot.
Think with that stuff a plain peat based soil on top is better then a “lighter” amended soil! The sohum is super strong on its own so don’t need a 2nd soil with nutrients on top of it! That is if I’m remembering correctly! :d5:

Also one more question @Mañ'O'Green or anyone else that knows the answer! ;)

If living in an urban area and the collected rainwater is almost 190ppm is that most likely contaminated with garbage from the local air pollution? Not my RW system but wanted a reliable answer to share with the person whose it is!:d5:

Probably that coupled with sediment from their roof and gutter system….pretty sure MoG mentioned heavy metal contamination around big cities….

The heavy metals I remembered that’s why I was asking! Didn’t want dude poisoning his plants unintentionally! :d5:

I thought they say not to plant in straight sohum or it can kill a young plant? What soil should i plant seeds in? Just biobizz?
I stand corrected! They are saying not to do a seed? I would just use the divot method with Jiffy Seed starter. They are also talking about time release amendments? I need to look into this further as I think this product has changed since I last used it as a top dressing for my vegetable garden.

Well IMPO transplanting autos is a mistake unless your timing is impeccable. To make a divot just water the Sohum to almost runoff but not. Push a bowl or something into the surface to make a 4 inch wide impression 3 inches deep. Fill this with moist Jiffy Seed Starter and start your seed in it.
