Damn snowbird retirees!
I turned down a job at the cogen plant at Tropicanna. I think it was in the Bradenton area. They gave me a rental car during the interview process, so I drove around a bit. LOTS had changed since the late 70's. I'm a pretty careful driver and even more so in a strange area, so I was on my toes.
Good thing too! It was the first of the month and all the retirees were out and about. I had so many close calls, I just went back to the hotel!
That and memories of a hurricane, led me to turn down the job. Damn nice job with lots of bennies. Although I really wouldn't have a upward path as a cogen plant shift supervisor. Next step up was entire plant engineer.

Shoulda hooked up, only 60 miles north..

If you are talking about the shutterstock colourful add top right, I can see it. If you are referring to something other than that ad, I can't. I am on Win10 with Microsoft Edge browser.

The ad is not visible on my Iphone7.
