What’s in a strain name?
Not much, apparently.
A recent study of roughly 90,000 marijuana samples found that, even though the same strain name was used on different products, the chemical makeup of the cannabis varied widely.
The same problem arose in the labeling of flower as sativa, indica or hybrid.
“Anyone who’s spent any time around marijuana knows this intuitively,” said Bart Schaneman, cultivation editor for MJBizDaily. “But to see it all proven out with this much data is illuminating.”
Now, the key is whether the industry can respond and start providing more information about its products for the sake of consumers, he added.

couldn't resist the urge to make use of fastbuds heather's free gifts from last year so decided to lob a few in a spare green house I have and wow have they done well. I used some home made soil mix I've had going in a composter for a good year and half both are strawberry banana fastbuds only thing I've added along the way is some fish mix here and there the big one is around 8/9 weeks and smaller one is around 6/7 didn't log the dates as I had no hopes for them was just for a bit of fun but they have turned out really well hope your all happy and healthy THC
