Really? That's crazy!

I remember pay $450/oz for black market weed. I bought a QP when I last lived in North Dakota that cost me $1200, and it turned out to be just fucking GARBAGE pot. That was my last black market sack; it was then I said "I'm going to grow my own."

Not long after that I found AFN. The rest is history.
I remember paying 80 bucks a 1/4 for the decent shit. If you just wanted brick weed to get high, that was 50-60 an ounce.

I'm hearing the same from a friend in that area.

$600+ an oz, I mean they can't even compete with the black market at those prices. Like here in Colorado even, the black market is alive and well.
10 to 20 per grm for most dispo weed in Florida..some as high as 30 per grm......occasional sales on stuff going out of date.
Edit: the bit I sell on the BM is $150 a zip......

The dispensaries here fully understand that they must be able to compete with the black market..

Some places I can pick up an 1/8 for 15 bucks. It's not top shelf but its pretty good weed. I've even got an ounce for 50 bucks on special. They run deals all the time here and I've seen ounces for 65 bucks or less.

You can find sub-$100 ounces here for sure, but you often pay for what you get.

There's flower, then popcorn buds (tiny broken pieces of flower or the larf,) then there's trim (which looks like trim.) And they'll sell all by the ounce. Do they do that there too?

Most joints are made with trim, not flower, unless they specifically market them as such (so you're better off buying a gram of flower and rolling it yourself, versus getting 1 gram pre-roll which is made from trim, I mean that's like a steak versus a piece of bologna.)

Shit..trim and larf is mine....bag it and stash it in the freezer......still dreaming of a hash run.

Here they're competing with the black market, and they also have many many competitors to contend with which keeps the prices down. You do need to be leery though. Anything prepackaged - edit: (normally $100 an oz) or pre rolled will likely be larfy bottom shelf. It's always best to buy from the 'bulk bin', because you can eye it up, and is almost always fresh and dense.
