Thanks:toke:
But as with everything there is always room for refinement.
I'm learning with every press.

I use a cheap Revlon hair straightener.
The power/heat setting is a dial from 1-25.
I press sugar trim/flower on setting 15.
Dry ice/bubble hash I press at 10 on the dial.
Unfortunately I don't have a laser thermometer yet, so I don't know temps.
I press sugar trim and flower until I hear the bubbling stop.
I have found that pressing in small amounts yields better.
Lately I've been measuring out 1 gram of flower.
I'll break that up into 10 pieces average. So approx 1/10g per press.
Takes less pressure to squeeze a smaller amount.
I too press on the table. Luckily I can grab the table from below to add to the press.
Less stress on the top hand.
I've been scanning craigslist and Amazon for moderately priced t shirt presses because the hair iron has it's limitations.
As you say.. I see repetitive strain injury in the future:biggrin:

That's some nice Blue Velvet @TaNg :bong:

Here's some @mephisto White Train rosin that I pressed last night.

Thanks for the tips bro and stunning Rosin as usual.

have to find the oil tank for my DaVinci.......misplaced it...lol got the bubblt bags I ordered replaced ( the first ones I bought smelled like a chemical factory........ ) and I've got a few ounces of trim ( and it looks like I'll end with about 8 ounces of bud from the greenhouse. going to make dry ice hash soon! I'll post when I do.

Come to think of it, I have a Cloupour M4 wax/oil tank and a mod battery........... and a nice little pile of kief in the bottom of my grinder......
