I think you have mastered your method bro so you may not need any new fangled gadgets lol. May I ask what temperature and for how long your pressing? Also your sugar trim,do you compress that somehow before Rosin pressing?
My method has defiantly improved over the last few weeks,I now have the straighteners at the edge of the table so I can clamp my hand round the edge of the table and on top of the straighteners plus the body weight I get over....trouble is 10 or so presses is all my wrist can handle without needing a rest lol I can see a repetitive strain injury coming lol. I'm not sure the exact temp but the lowest is 150c so I heat it to that then turn off for 70 seconds then press for about 20 seconds,I then fold the disk and press again without adding anymore heat....seems to work ok but I would prefer lower temp straighteners.
Here's the Blue Velvet Rosin I will be dabbing today, I don't have scales that measure below 1g so I've no idea how much is there but it was from 4 thumb nail sized buds.

Thanks

But as with everything there is always room for refinement.
I'm learning with every press.
I use a cheap Revlon hair straightener.
The power/heat setting is a dial from 1-25.
I press sugar trim/flower on setting 15.
Dry ice/bubble hash I press at 10 on the dial.
Unfortunately I don't have a laser thermometer yet, so I don't know temps.
I press sugar trim and flower until I hear the bubbling stop.
I have found that pressing in small amounts yields better.
Lately I've been measuring out 1 gram of flower.
I'll break that up into 10 pieces average. So approx 1/10g per press.
Takes less pressure to squeeze a smaller amount.
I too press on the table. Luckily I can grab the table from below to add to the press.
Less stress on the top hand.

I've been scanning craigslist and Amazon for moderately priced t shirt presses because the hair iron has it's limitations.
As you say.. I see repetitive strain injury in the future
That's some nice Blue Velvet

Here's some
@mephisto White Train rosin that I pressed last night.
