Yeah I even considered using the height adjusters for lights. Ran from ceiling, the stands were an add on but costs $50 for 2 pairs. The stands is what I ended up going with and if I get a second set in future I may try my idea but I feel like it would be harder to stay where I want the lights to be hanging from ceiling. I just have multiple sets of hangers and always looking to save wherever I can. I will say that so far they look to be worth it I helped out a family member who started some good sized plants and didn’t realize he was lacking in good overhead lighting. And I hooked them up a month ago and the difference surprised me. Almost was healthier from bottom up. He now has ordered an upgraded led and soon a set of the under canopy. I can’t wait to get them hooked up so I can see them in action.I have heard a lot of good things about them and wanted to see myself if they are worth the money. I don’t implement CO2 in my grows at this point but I would like to get there one day and continue growing in skill set and experience.

The controller I like a lot and works very well. Easy to learn and read and worth the money if you have some extra after buying lights. It made the whole process easier with full control. I was able to get one because I received the lights as a Christmas present and all I had to buy was stands, so I paid for l the controller and stands. If u get option give it a try.

Search on Amazon for this model. It has worked flawlessly now for 4 years. I think the current price is quite a bit higher than what I paid for mine, but that's 4 years ago. Seem like I saw it a few months ago on sale, so maybe check on it every once in awhile. It's a great unit!

And better present the information for others to use if interested. @SOOTDAWG

Those 650Rs are just beasts! They definitely fill in quite well in between the lights with the photons from both.
When I first saw the picture my mind says that's too far apart and then I see the plants. Obviously not too far apart!
But when thinking about it , the way it covers in my 4 by 4, it makes sense.

Have you taken leaf temperature readings under those lights? I just got in the new AC Infinity temperature gun.
I'm about to use It for the first time. The tent has been on for a while and the exhaust fan has cycled on high regularly.
Just another tool to make sure my environment is fully dialed in properly.

Checking trichomes with the scope and its hard to find any clears left, they re all cloudy now with ambers popping up here and there. I will be chopping these soon and if the trichomes turn before the pistils then so be it! Im pretty sure ill chop them no later than 11wks. Come on girls, we can see the light at the tunnel now!

Aight, so.... My plant is looking like shit. I've def messed it up somewhere and I'm actually embarassed to post a pic at this point. I'll get one tomorow night but yeah, I've been hesitant to post cause dangit.
Hey man, those plants were out of your control for a while and you dont know what they went thru, yes its unfortunate, but leaf damage is just that, if its flowering alot of those leaves will be useless soon anyways. Whats happening? What are the problems and how are they progressing? We might be able to help. Coco/hydro or soil? If its locked out it could just need a flush and a little time to recoup, could still make some killer buds! Anyway, lets see if we can turn those plants health around!

Day 71/24 in flower. Our weather has been not so good and lot of snow this week and haven’t been able to make the trip to grab my under canopy lights yet, they are at my old place and should’ve already been here. That said I’ve done some more defoliation and made a couple clones of the lowers I chopped to maybe throw outdoors this year or to try a fast veg and experiment a lil. I think I pulled 5 solid clones out of it. Not a loss in my eyes. If all goes well I’ll have the under canopy lights by end of this weekend. The plants are doing great dropped back to feeding full strength every other watering. The leaves are a beautiul shade of green and buds are fattening up in a hurry. Insane frost as well to be so early on I am going to say that these should be a real treat. Hope all is well with everyone and can’t wait to start seeing some of the smoke reports.
