Okey... do u have a actual draw on those 700 mars? And what kind of yield could I aspect from those. I am a Newby with growing, just on my third and forth grow. But let's say I get 600 grams from a 600w bulb every time. What will 2 mars 700 give me? Or is it possible to calculate like that... or calculate with a feeling.. any idea? Thanks for the answer.

420 watts to cover 25 sq feet = 16.8w/foot. Id recommend you use at least 30w/ft to maximize yields. You could use 4 mars II 400s, drawing about 800 actual watts. You wouldnt be happy with a single 900 in your space, of course you could grow fewer plants and use all the space in your tent. 2 700's isnt a bad idea either, then you would have about 26w/ft. 4, 400s would give you right around 32 w/ft and better light distribution than a single or even 2 lights would provide.

Well now I found this mars for a killer price .. ive been holding back on led for so long .. this 1600 looks killer and pulls a solid 720 from the wall in bith bloom vegg..
i like this light but it also pulls 6 amps.. :crap:

If you decide to buy direct from Mars Hydro consider contacting that Sara for possibly a better price and a good contact person and seems knowledgable. If not there was also a promo code posted MRTIGHT that I think was a 3% discount.

If it were me, I'd buy a pair of the Mar Reflector Series 600 watt units. I think you'd get a better light foot print with 2 lights. I don't like the "square" led fixtures. And I think this design is more efficient than the Mars 2. If I had $600-$700 to spend, this is what I'd get:

Elvis, thats a Mars unit Also. Mars Hydro use to be Topled, which is what I have. A very good light for the money, IMO, you'll be happy!

I've been on a couple other forums reading about these lights. There's a Mars Hydro company rep named Sara that is real active over there. On these 2 forums she's always telling the people she can give a better price and 3 year warranty, where their Ebay seller only gives 1 year. I'm not speaking from any experience other than what I read, but many are very happy with her. I know Weedman 30 has dealt with her and maybe Trapper. But may be worth checking her out, better price, better warranty. If anyone wants a couple links to those forums PM me.

This is where I got my 2 MarsII lights from, and I am very happy with them. Sara is great.

I just posted on another forum to her that she should check in here and maybe participate in some discussions.

That would be very cool! No company is perfect, but MarsHydro seems to be a pretty good one. I would definitely buy from them again, and I'm kicking myself for not having done so this time.
