I too have purchased directly from Cidly . An Apollo 8 to be precise . Since I knew nothing about spectrum's I allowed Lydia to decide .She said they sold lots of lights to " medical plant growers " so I felt in safe hands . I currently have 10 plants under the Appolo right from day one and so far if I don't screw up on the nut's everything seems to be acers . This little beauty is a Dinafem Critical 2.0 which along with 4 others plus 5 White Widows has been under the light for 9 days . Oh yeh the price $ 294.69 US delivered to Ont. Canada .

I think this is a good deal.. its also in my budget and has warranty.. any input?

nammy or pop? http://www.ebay.com/itm/MarsHydro-2...7338475?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item565ff8f46b
I've been on a couple other forums reading about these lights. There's a Mars Hydro company rep named Sara that is real active over there. On these 2 forums she's always telling the people she can give a better price and 3 year warranty, where their Ebay seller only gives 1 year. I'm not speaking from any experience other than what I read, but many are very happy with her. I know Weedman 30 has dealt with her and maybe Trapper. But may be worth checking her out, better price, better warranty. If anyone wants a couple links to those forums PM me.

I think mars lights are decent, Ive got a mars 2 400 and an cidly apollo 10, they are both nice. Id probably pick the cidly over the mars if I had to tho.... Nice to be able to create custom spectrum for no additional charge.

Well yall know Im on 1000 watts HID and I don't wanna pay for em anymore. their costing me 70 a month to use.. wile its cold im not using AC,so power cost has been much better. But I need to make the "switch" here very soon.

Thanks guys for all the advise.

Get that Mar2 900 then, cut your electric use in half! Less heat too. If you get a 900 and feel its not quite enough, get a 300 watt unit to go with it. You'll still be below 700 watts actual draw!

Will that mars 900 w cover a 5x5 room. By cover I mean... can I get like 600 gr with it :) ? I want to change my hps to led coz of the heat....

I'd say no.
I had a single 900w in a 4x4 tent and the plants at the edge were reaching towards the center.
So even 4x4 is pushing the coverage.
Personally for a 5x5 I'd go with 2x 700w models.
Then you'd have complete even coverage.
