Well I am on my way to led growing I was going to go with bysen but found some wicked deals on EBAY. The one apollo 6 270 watts I got for 195.00 canadian and the generic 9 band 300 watt 150.00 CAD. that is both with shipping too. If anyone is interested in the apollo and you live in the USA this guy with out a doubt has one of the best prices on a true apollo 6. I won mine in a bid. They go for a little more but not much the apollo 6. The apollo is wicked bright the generic is still bright but just a tad less than the apollo. The nine band led is really bright red with blue hard to see leaving me to think it will be good in budding stage time will tell though. I will eventually have two 4x4 foot tents going strong hopefully by January. one will photo girl scout cookies and god bud. the other will be auto ultimate and some other DP auto

I have been using LED's exclusively for over two years, with great results. I use 4) Bysen 240W (actual draw). I chose Bysen primarily due to their modular configuration which makes repair very simple, plus, a problem with P/S or bulb related issues is confined to the module and none of the other modules are adversely affected by any failures in another module. In a non-modular configuration (similar to the the one pictured in the previous post) any P/S or bulb related failures adversely affect the the entire system.

Upon receiving them, I inspected the construction and it was world class... impressive.

I paid $225 ea. (regular was $185) to have my own, customized light spectrum...

Once the modules were configured, shipping and delivery was as fast or faster than domestic shipping.

Bysen is not the only Chinese LED mfg that delivers top quality LED arrays. My experience, matched with the experiences of people I trust indicates that there a a very small number of Chinese quality driven manufacturers, but the vast majority are cheap counterfeits. Buyer should be particularly aware of arrays (on Ebay, etc) that appear to be identical to popular arrays, but are not made by the mfg being copied. With Chinese manufactures, due diligence can lead to "you get what you pay for" but, without doing so, it is likely you will not get what you you paid for.

I hope this helps prevent at least one person from being victimized. :peace:

Well that is good to know that Bysen has some longevity Two years and no problems you have some good lights there bro. I hope to get that out of my Apollo 6. Allot are going to a COB design which are modular in design. The future looks bright but very true on buyer beware

Dunno CMA (welcome back btw) but I would say stick with what you know is good. For that price you can get a GN Ms0006 and we all KNOW those are good.

Cheers HH.

Definitely leaning towards the GN units. Was thinking of getting two of the ms004 units as they would get better penetration in my available space. If I'm correct though I think GN are only going to be releasing an updated ms006 unit with the new range(so two ms004 ain't an option now)? One concern is two new ms006 in a crossbeam would be too much light in a 80x80x180 space. So trying to get my head around some direct from China options so can have multiple led units tanning the girls all over.

They look just like my TopLed lights. I have 2 of the 300 watt unit I got them on ebay for $204 for the pair! Been using them since may with no issues and have grown some nice plants under them.
Do they give 300w actual draw on each light pop22? Great price btw. The plants are thriving under them yeah?

For the Houyi listing it doesn't give actual draw, at a guess it could be anywhere from 300w up on a unit promoted as 600w, depends how cheap Houyi have gone on the spec.

Yea apparently GN are releasing better lights that draw half the power. Which for me would be incredible because I use SO much electricity it's unreal. If I could replace all my HID lights with these 75 Watt LED lights in the future that would be amazing. I think 2 of the GN 004 lights would be a good move. That's basically like one and a half ms006 except spread out more.

I wonder are GN upgrading the Ms004 as well? If so I'd consider holding out maybe... maybe :)

If they don't upgrade the ms004 I'll maybe have to figure out how to have two new version ms006 units in that space without giving the girls sunburn.
