If I keep a board a diode I can handle but that regulator---man that's small--now if the factory can send a new board better. now if the factory made 4 MMJ boards
Grow---Bloom--Combo (veg/bloom)---and clone, seedling, re-veg. If you don't have just a combo you can get a unit and the other two light boards, swaps out in about 2 minutes

I get that, but you really only need to swap out a few of the diodes and the industry hasn't settled on a specific veg bloom cocktail yet... so go with what has been proven to work, and swiching out pcb's ain't it... you'll smudge your lenses, break plastic pieces, strip screws and threaded mounts. It's inviting trouble. Believe me!

You don't have to switch out the current regulator if its functioning and you have identical diode replacements. That's your issue. Just gotta get another diode that operates at the same voltage and current and supplies the same or better spectral output.

As for veg/bloom turn off some red and boost the blues, then switch. You can do it with the same pcb and diodes.

Can I ask a question fellas!? I plan on runnin either HPS / MH and CLF's with LED's too.As a general rule are there any Watt formats I should do with the LED's with other crossed lighting?..:joint:

Led's and watts are tricky. You're right to be cautious. Watts per square foot are a good place to start and that value varies with the type of light, either cfl, led, cmh, or hps. HID kits are thoroughly tested, tried and true, and that data as far as optimal w/ft^2 should be online somewhere. LED's typically do well with 40-100 w/ft^2 according to a recent thread here on afn, but all the other variables come into play. So... do some research? I hope I helped...

I didn't think of scratched lenses or cheap fasteners with self stripping threads. Bloom is well worked out----- and for little one's blue with just enough white so your not going to miss something in all that blue light as the plants extra needs will be met before your eye is happy. Now a veg or combo that is debatable and I'm not on the debate team. I'm running two and I think the blue dominate I have is too much blue to red. I would like a bloom and a combo--note that the ones I now have one could be the combo but a true Blackstar UV light pattern for one as the bloomer that be the other. So Direct from China let's see were my e-mails with Winnie at the factory in China goes-don't get much more direct than that.

Hehe, good ole DX grado, I've spent plenty a dollar with them........

I have never actually done business with them, but holy meat balls, their 2 dollar gadget page has me glued to the computer.

Yes you did.I have my kit im buying and Im going to run(God willing)2 iPower DDB 600W. HPS/MH X 2 to start with And thats along with 2 125W. Cool CFL's and I'd like to post up two to four LED panels. And then experiment with different settings and Wattages.Beware the evil Eddy current.LOL! Thanks man it a large help.Taking notes at ths point as to not kiss my plants with the invisable flamethrower.LOL!
