Hey all, just tried a New foliar from a company called HEAVY16. This stuff is the real deal when it comes to Cal/mag problems from running LED. Check it out on their web site and look at the ingredients. Yeah, I know PH, actual Cal/Mag in with the solution works too, but 1-2 applications with this stuff has me hooked. It works with ANY feed type or brand!!! NO I dont work for them, but I do like what works in my tent and wanted to share. You dont even have to ph your water when you mix to spray on your plants!!! Awesome stuff!!!

Could someone please post a pic of a cal-mag deficiency ? I would like to see a few different pictures from different people/sources.

Hey guys... I just put my gals under the LED's at 50 days old. Previously, I had them under 20/4, and the deficiency started showing almost overnight. This time, I switched to 14/10 and there has been nothing so far, but it has only been three days. I have grown autos under 12/12 before, with HID's, and there really wasn't much discernible difference in the yield, but I know it probably does make at least some difference.

I'm going to increase to 16/8 and see how it goes. I'll keep you posted. :peace:

Good info thank you, I have 180 ufo from pro source and I am all organic.
I have had a small cal,mag dif and put it right with cal mag and I put see crop in to and black strap to.
My temp in veg is 75-78 In flower temps 83/86.
Regards

Okay... latest update with my LEDs.

The first time I used the LEDs, I also used guano teas for the first time and got the yellowing. Everyone was calling this an LED induced deficiency, and since I had just started with my LEDs, I assumed the same.

I use TLO and, until that grow, had only used water... no cal/mag, teas, nothing, except some myco's. I am now about a month into my third grow with the LEDs, and this time I went back to water only. I have absolutely no sign of anything amiss yet, in fact the plant is thriving.

So, in my case at least, it was not a deficiency... it was the result of using teas that were either too hot, or simply unnecessary.

I don't know that this would help anybody but I thought it was worth sharing. BTW, the plants are under 20/4. :peace:

Great thread :)

But if it's to do with LED's giving off less heat, what about growing indoors in the summer, when temps are always high ? The deficiency can still occur ?

i recently started using magne cal from plant magic. Sorted the deficiency in just a few uses and now lowered the dose for regular use.

cal mag def. occured within 48hrs of swapping to LeD

Now this is probably some of the best information I've read on any forum so thank you!
