Im also getting the calmag issue deff thing and im using 600w hps and a 900w 5wled panel side by side.anyone figure out why this is happening?

This is a very interesting read, my plants started to get these rust spots, and after searching for calmag deficiency after reading this thread, the images that popped up looked exactly the same as what my plants' leaves looked like. Thanks guys it is very interesting to see how the plants may react differently to led lighting.

Hey guys, My first auto grow was in 2 identicle tents(3x3) Sunshine mix #4 in both tents, smart pots in both tents, and the ONLY difference in the two tents were tent #1 had a 250w MH/HPS and tent#2 had a 230w Led, and tent #2 had Cal/Mag problems by week 2!!!! So IMO it is the spectrum of Led because I ran both tents through the grow and the tent with the MH/HPS didn't needs ANY Cal/Mag supplement at all except for the bit of molasses in between feedings in both tents. Well now I have upgraded to 1 4x4 tent and 2 400w Led's and have to use Cal/Mag by week 2 on all my plants, and my temps are 78-81* and 40%RH at all times. I foliar with Heavy 16 when they are young and don't need a bunch of water, but I see those damn spots on my 2 week olds EVERY grow. So I definately contribute to makin someone's house payment, that works for Botanicare for their Cal/Mag+. I applaud everyones input and we all have to make way, that what works for me, where I am at with feed, water, pressure, environment, ect. WILL NOT WORK, where you live and your controllables. They will all be different!!! Bottom line for me is that I do not care about the whys, I will do what I have to do to make it work!!! Now don't get me wrong, if some company came out with a nute line tailored for autos with cal/mag, we would all be in line to showcase that sh*t!!!

Has anyone tried Roots Organic Elemental to help with the cal mag problems? Might be something to look into.

Im hearing that the roots stuff the bloom I think has bugs in it..I had some and had bugs ..not to say it was the roots but ...Ill play it safe..I have used the GH cal/mag plus with great results..was thinking my low feeding was cal/mag lol noob..but now im using all Grow More products ..testing the N-Cal-mag testing it now..should help keep things green through bloom.Im thinking its more root temps and medium type how fast or slow the soil dries giving roots air..pro mix BX I cant keep it wet LOL PEACE!

That's odd because BX is supposed to hold water better then HP and I use HP with no problems. I did get some mag deficiency and some bleaching because I wasn't around to keep any eye on the plants.

These were all under Solar Storm 400 and I wasn't home for a week to take care of them. I thought they would be ok but I was wrong.

I have moved most of them to other rooms and only have 1 in there now and its doing great.

I got some calmag *EDIT* deficiency *EDIT* last grow, my first LED grow.

This time i have mixed in dolomite lime with the soil so we'll see.

I just picked up some cal mag and my shit looks so much better!!! The yellowing is gone except for the yellowing out from age!! And I grow straight 100% LEDs!

Putting about 8ml into each gallon of water!

I'm finding I need to add it every watering too, and my girl still seems to want more!

Yep!!! I thought it was a led thing in the beginning but now after researching a lot of shit and talking to people, I think it is just an autoflower thing
