I just finished a 100+ day grow with some photos... two different strains, still water only... not a single issue. This makes three grows at least without an issue using "water only" TLO.

With TLO, the nutrients are already in the mix in abundance before the grow starts... so there is no difference in the feeding program, based on the stage of the plant.

My point is that maybe starting your cal/mag supplementation earlier than normal may help some... just a thought. :peace:

To be perfectly clear, my input was just a guess. I have no actual science for validity. :peace:

High!

Noted that bro,.
Need to try anyways...it is kind of :fire: me this Cal def. :)
Thought it was excess / toxicity but read it is harder to over do it with Cal rather tahn with N or Mg so went back at trying earlier but never before sex.

Tahnks
Peace!

I've been growing with leds for the past year and have suffered with numerous cal mag deficiencies during my past grows using canna terra.

just switched to plant magic soil with the old timers range and I've not even had to ph the water let alone add any cal mag...start to finish with no problems whatsoever.

Thought I'd share this

This is my first run with an LED and they've only been in there for a few weeks now. I have been adding 1/4 teaspoon of CaliMagic to 2 quarts of water and all seems to be ok. Will I need to up this as they mature or does that sound like a good dosage?

I cracked the seed for this grow in a calmag additive with other stuff in it, plantmagic+magnecal+. It said "from seed" on the label so I did and have had no problems whatsoever, unlike my first 2 grows using the powdered calmag.

Mine are photo clones, so a bit different maybe. Does dosing them with cal-mag actually help that much at germination? If so that's awesome because I have a few beans to crack.....

I've really got no idea if it does anything whatsoever but it doesn't do any harm so why not :)

Your plant is going to need the most MG for transition to flowering and the most calcium toward the end of flowering. It does not need much or early on but it never hurts to keep a low does going the whole time and giving more as needed.
