Three (I think?) days of no rain, but nice sunshine and heat,
thought they'd need a drink and may be wilting.
Did my all in black ninja dress code and made a night visit.
No wilting at all, the pots still had some weight.
I think the mulch is definitely helping somewhat.
Though the weekend did have a lot of rain.

The bent Jacqui Herer branch was down again.
Still healthy, and bud-lets curling up, very cute.
So tucked her back in through the other tall colas.
She's still fine bent down, but would prefer to keep her off the ground.
So may require a more solid fix, maybe ... reusable chopstick splint (??).

Took off a few yellowing leaves, mostly from Miss Golden Thailand.
Both her and Jacqui Herer are just a mass of white pistils now.
Still very fresh and fertile (if I had a cute stud nearby, pity I don't...)
They are very much still expanding and filling out.

Fed them a total of 3.5 liters, that's a US gallon, boys! :p
That should last them another three days at this rate.
And there may be rain by Sunday, perfect timing.

Went to the pond to refill the replace the bottles.
Just before the pond is a tiny, but muddy, stream that I have to cross.
The farmer(s) has left sandbags as steps, thanks,
but I'm also worried I'm going to miss my step in the dark,
and land in that mud holding two heavy bottles of pond water.

On the way back, I startled the local stray dog pack,
who got quite aggressive, as usual, and all ran at me barking loudly.
I screamed at them even louder and ran straight back at them.
Haha! They kept their distance.
That got my adrenaline flowing (even more!), and made me laugh.

It's actually these stray dogs around here that kind of keep people away from my girls.

Have a great evening, gro-migos and gro-migas!

Visited again.
Went to have a quick vape, and noticed very little traffic so went in.
I was surprised they were a bit thirsty, so gave them 1.5 L each.
All is well, and they continue to put on weight.

Okay, may be about to get clipped by a typhoon.
Rain and strong winds coming up........
will have to get out to them as soon as it's passed to check up on them!

Day 91 (Flowering Day 64) La Buena Hierba: Thai Gold Photo

After those short but heavy rains, the pot was leaning a bit.
She's getting a bit top-heavy as well, so straightened her up.

Yellowing still slowly progressing, but not enough to make me worried.
She had another drink of the Peters 5-11-26 mix I took to the site last week.
Should not only provide nutes, but counter-balance any acidity in the rain water.

8.5 weeks, but still weeks out.
Keep praying for more clear sunny days, and opportunities to water as needed.

Day 62 (Flowering Day 25) La Buena Hierba: Jack Herer Auto

Meanwhile, this girl is starting to show her spears!
One of the top colas was bent right down at 90 degrees from the rain.
Propped it back up by tucking it behind another cola.
The longest cola is a good solid foot of sativa bud shaping up!

Those leaf tips curling down, probably from the Peters.
But it's strange, because it's fairly low in N, being 5-11-25.
She is a very deep green, though, so must be a low N feeder.
Still, I think she needs the higher PK for the buds, and it's working!!

The other cola that got bent down has that cool curling frond like shape to her now.
She'll probably straighten though.

Should have got better photos of the whole plants, but light wasn't great.

Love and hugs,
~SM

Looking good. So wish I could outdoor here but it is not even a faint possibility.

Be safe and good luck!

No problem, @pop22
No chance of any personal danger, just hope that that bent branch doesn't get more damaged, or they get blown over.
It shouldn't be strong enough here to do the Mother Nature defoliation thing... and it's just gonna be one day.
They get a free drink out of it!!

Hoping you just get a gentle brush from the typhoon:goodluck:

Rain. Quite a bit, but nothing catastrophic.
More to come though.
More concerned about the fact that the rain is ongoing,
and humidity is peaking pretty high.
The Jack will be fine, not dense enough to have problems (yet).
And the Thai Gold, well, she is supposed to be very resistant to you-know-what.

Thanks for your concern!
