A little more rain today, and more scheduled for Sunday.
Not quite so hot but more humidity, obviously.

Went it to take some photos and video.
But when I got home, the quality was horrible, so no show...

The plants themselves are doing well.
Thai Gold continuing to thicken up.
Jack Herer becoming a mass of fluffy white pistils.
The mulch and rain is helping them not dry out now.

Can just leave them in this weather, they are fine by themselves.
Maybe check on later next week after a few days of more sun and heat.

Heavy rain on Sunday afternoon, a couple of inches worth.
More forecast for this afternoon.
That's more like the usual weather for this time of the year -- frequent afternoon downpours.
The pH of that rain is supposedly around 5.8.
Should be buffered by my dolomite lime.
And it's actually not as acidic as it can get around here, so shouldn't be too problematic.

Then forecast for a few days of cloud and sun.
Even when it rains it's usually sunny in the morning.

The girls are looking beautiful SM :pass: YAY congrats for being in the Outdoor Grow Comp:woohoo1::woohoo:That is great you having more rain and dont have to worry about the girls and dry like before. The dolomite lifts the pH i read. Thai Gold will be interesting, being sativa dom, the high i like of sativas. Jack she is looking great also, both will be ubber happy with the humidity and rain. Had floods day before and had 223mm fall over night, rare event for winter, more common in summer months, and the creek was up

Thanks, Smokey! :pass:

Those rains sound nasty, good thing they're in pots and you can move them.
When I get the heavy rains and the ground water starts pooling, I'm glad to have mine in pots too!

Day 91 (Flowering Day 64) La Buena Hierba: Thai Gold Photo

After those short but heavy rains, the pot was leaning a bit.
She's getting a bit top-heavy as well, so straightened her up.

Yellowing still slowly progressing, but not enough to make me worried.
She had another drink of the Peters 5-11-26 mix I took to the site last week.
Should not only provide nutes, but counter-balance any acidity in the rain water.

8.5 weeks, but still weeks out.
Keep praying for more clear sunny days, and opportunities to water as needed.

Day 62 (Flowering Day 25) La Buena Hierba: Jack Herer Auto

Meanwhile, this girl is starting to show her spears!
One of the top colas was bent right down at 90 degrees from the rain.
Propped it back up by tucking it behind another cola.
The longest cola is a good solid foot of sativa bud shaping up!

Those leaf tips curling down, probably from the Peters.
But it's strange, because it's fairly low in N, being 5-11-25.
She is a very deep green, though, so must be a low N feeder.
Still, I think she needs the higher PK for the buds, and it's working!!

The other cola that got bent down has that cool curling frond like shape to her now.
She'll probably straighten though.

Should have got better photos of the whole plants, but light wasn't great.

Love and hugs,
~SM

:pass: The girls are looking great, nice and clear photos also, hope your weather stays good for Thai Gold to finish. I can see Jack she is progressing well also. That Peters sounds a nice fert, and has a decent N, not sure they yellowing but isnt bad at all , and no concern.

Yes, that is the problem and the soil were its sunny isnt the best so drainage would be an issue for in ground when we get these rain events, the flooding went down the coast of Australia, it was an east coast low. Off to zzz and a vape

A couple of better pics.

I taped up that bent branch, keep her long and tall.
It is the back-middle (second from right) in this photo above.
