La Buena Hierba "La Buena Hierba Seeds" test by Balarama

Thanks DAB!
She is indeed a chunky one, the clusters will get fatter and she will probably yield better than expected. Same for the other plants, I kind of forgot about the third AF plant which had a mite infestation, but since the cleanup she is packing some buds and will probably yield more than the other two beauties.

I feel the best smoking will be this one:

Just looking at the forecast and feeling truly blessed, another week or two with mostly sunny hot weather. The plants are going to love it:)

Yesterday I smoked a mini joint of the test bud from the chunky lady, it tasted of hash and sweet berry, not developed terpenes yet and proper potency still was not there, but it's already a very pleasant and enjoyable smoke, it will only get better in the next weeks.
I'm planning to cut the last week of august, and let the third one go in september. Must not forget to take a mag glass to check the trichs next time.

Thanks for watching and best vibes!

Hi Vas,
As I understand(and may be wrong) a semi auto has properties of both, photoperiod and af.
They should keep vegging under 24h but start flowering under 20/4 or less. I read that somewhere I don't remember.
Outdoors it results in longer veg compared to autos and the flowering is triggered faster compared to photoperiods, which is very good in more northern parts(50+) where at the end of summer sun hours decrease faster.
I can not say this is fully true, because I never tested this properties, I'm actually lower than 50N, so the plant response is different as in Denmark, for example. Also big difference is the climate here, much more heat and less water.

Had a chance to test the AF smoke a bit more and I correct myself, it's already strong:) It could easily be picked now, but I think there is still a lot terpenes to develop, this can come out very tasty sweet hashy weed. It has a sweet, tyre/tar, green, berry, pine, hash smell, quite pungent but not expanding, the smoke is still just a bit harsh because the plant is still on feed. Otherwise lovely berry pine hash taste and a long lasting fruity aftertaste.
The effect is heady thick, pretty long lasting 2-3 hours.

I think with this development they will be harvested in two weeks, the third af plant two weeks later.

Wow, thanks RS for the BOM nomination! I'm very excited for this:)
I'll probably post some more pictures in the next weeks, so feel free to check for the winning one;)

@LBH
Yeah bro, I always cure in glass, except a batch I had in plastic. Worked also very well, not as well as glass though, less air tight.

Thanks for the kind words guys, best of luck maffro!

Cheers

My pleasure man... Beautiful backdrop too... looks like where I live... :)

Finally some rain and lower temperatures.
They just needed a little flush and a spray, been too hot for so long.
Casual rains will stay for the next 3-4 days so I feel the first harvest will be at end of next week in the sunny days, I'll go check for their health and mold, however LBH said they are supposed to be well resistent to bad weather.
If they'll be able to handle it, they will stay for a week or two more, to reach the 16-17 weeks total, they should properly finish in max 17weeks because of the haze influence. Maybe the intense sunlight and heat made them to flower faster, must not forget the magnifier to check the trichs.
Hoping for mostly milky and no amber.

This(next) week will probably be the last full update on autoflowering gals, later the harvest update and more to come from the semi-autos.
