Week: 2 - Day: 14

Another week down for the Bomb Seeds tester beans and what to say but so far so good. Each seedling seems to be growing at the expected rate and all seedlings are producing fresh and healthy growth. Out of all 6 Bomb tester Seeds 1 THC Bomb seed never made it above ground and the other THC Bomb seed that did, appears to be stunned. All six seeds were cared for in the exact same manner so realistically that should tell us that the THC Bomb seeds are the problem and not the grower. The seed that never made it had been replaced with an Exodus Kush from DNA Genetics but for whatever reason that also never appeared above ground. As I have no more DNA in stock this seed will be replaced with an OG Kush from Humboldt Seeds Org, hopefully this one successfully pulls through or I will have to take back my statement about it being the seeds and not the grower.

For the past two weeks the lights have been kept on at a time of 20-4/On-Off but this is due to change as of tomorrow. The seedling have been in a vegetative phase for the last fourteen days and are now ready to enter the blooming phase. This means it is time to make the switch from 20-4/on-off to 12-12. The SK 400 Plus has again been re-positioned this week to 30 inches above the plant canopy because of the rate of growth the seedling are achieving. The LED is still producing a little too much heat for my liking but the plants seem to be adjusting to it just fine. Another week or two and then outside temperatures will drop enough to use the cooler air to balance the temperatures in the grow tent.

This week, Grims Own Soil plants have been fed 1ml Bio-Bizz Root juice and 1ml Bio Heaven which naturally adjusted to a PH of around 6.6. No chemical PH adjustments were made and each plant received about 500ml of feed. The Kind Soil plants however have been fed a strict diet of water that was PH adjusted naturally to a PH of 6.5 using organic lemon juice.

Day - 14: Widows have longer inter-nodal spacing compared to Killer Purps which are much shorter. Widows appear to have more Sativa genetic traits while the Killer Purps have more Indica traits.

Awesome documentation sir! You're way ahead of me, but one thing I noticed in my grows, if I lose a seed in a particular spot, I'll probably lose the next ones there too. After losing enough repeats, I started digging out a few tablespoons of media wherever I lose one, replacing with fresh media there. It's stopped almost all repeat loss, and has me on a theory that my losses were pythium or bacterial. It's amazing how vulnerable they are until a node or so... Doesn't help that beans are so expensive either lol!

:woohoo1::baby::baby::baby::cooldance: Excellent looking batch of young'uns Grim'! :d5: ..fine photography too mate, I can't wait to see the bloom porn :headbang: LOL!
I'm digging those KP's especially,... such nice chunky Indi' fingers on them! They almost look like mint leaves- :smoking:

Is it update day already? Sure why not lol! All continued great improvement aside from the one. What once was a failboat ride has become a Lazarus mission hah!

KindSoil side:
Okay I'm officially calling it on this one, time of death occurred approximately 1830 hours Sept 18th. Cause of death: acute environmental trauma precipitated by improper water and topsoil.

It's going in the trash tomorrow, I don't even want it in my coconut oil. The soil will be trashed too just as a precaution, well, dumped in the woods, nature can have it back haha.

On to brighter notes! The pretty KindSoil Blackberry Stone really put on some weight and it's not done yet! Pics barely do it justice. I know the KindSoil guys were making strong arguments against RO water, but seriously my troubles really cleared up fast by ditching my well water and going to RO & distilled.

+ the buds are really beautiful, with an interesting structural layout I haven't seen before, kinda a combo of slim and fat calyxes, and just going all kinds of directions, assorted colors too:

The Tombstone KindSoil gals are doing great! The trio pot is all getting a mild case of lower yellows, but far enough along now that they'll make great herb no matter what:
20160918_172952.jpg

The single KindSoil Tombstone is really about to steal the show, it is set up now for a very nice yield (for me) and is gorgeous in person. Very leafy with 9-pointers!!: top down:

It's shaping up to be one of the best plants I've grown yet!

My soil side also very much improved!
Red Poison is actually starting to look like she might yield halfway well:
20160918_173027.jpg

The Cream Mandarine XL is kinda weird, it's got nugs and leaves pointing in strange directions, but finally yield will be okay not amazing but sorta acceptable, trichomes are going crazy though! Full sugar treats!
20160918_173116.jpg

The Blackberry Stones in my soil are doing just fine, could be better but collectively they'll fill a jar well. The lone one is still trying to color up:
20160918_173122.jpg

The trio is kinda twiggy but that's okay. All of this is my first time doing any multi potting, so I still feel okay about it. For the future though, I think 3gal is too small for a trio potting indoor, they really do step on each other's toes.
20160918_173132.jpg

Okay friends that's all for now! It's certainly smelling amazing up in there!
:smoking::d5::biggrin::smoking::d5::biggrin:

LMFAO SHE's DEAD Jim LOL! rough go of it bro. I would love to know what happened to your water man. thats just nuts bro.really sorry for your troubles there my friend. that makes it extra tough. nice plants all around here. lovely as ya want em :D

Anthro- :crying: how timely! I've been watching the BBC's 50th Anniversary Star Trek marathon recently! .... Way to steer into the skid my friend, these girls have turned around very well considering! I dig that KS BBS bud missile, ditto for the Tomber'... and the RP is making lots of nice side nuggies! I'm glad the water change is working mate, and duly noted on the RO use!
...just a heads up guys, there will be some changes here in the test thread... For myself, I'm pretty much DQ'ing out now, as some of my photo girls are looking like they need some supplemental's,.. I'll have details in the next update tonight, but briefly, it's not an issue per se with KS,.. the plants got too damn big for the pots against predictions! ... not sure if I'll just stay here anyway, and make due note of the situation, or move to a new thread,..likely the former,...
