diluting the amount thats to be used from 2LB to 2.5LB's? no I am not. Im just thinning it out. adding soil to the KS to thicken up the layer.bulking it up,then layering it on the bottom. works well for me. and prolly many others too.
Update: @Kindsoil i have some early lacking from the kind soil on this larger strain. which I was suspect about staying with 2.5LBs on large strain but I did. so i'll top coat it sometime in the next 24hrs since I fed them with a simple dissolved organic tea with a life [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] soil inoculate.with the fantasmo express it shows like the moonstone amnesia too.
the grape crinkle and the Yeti cross from SS is doing well, although you can see more slight discoloration/lacking in the foods and potency of the soil. so again a simple tea feed and water and back under they went temps at canopy are hovering around 75F 70+% RH as well.
other than that the plants all around look amazing, but Im still looking at limits and so on. but really really nice. very pleased since all thats needed with the larger strains is use 3LBs imho. would take them further faster. just watch the tap root digging deep, quickly.could be a potential issue. so a larger pot maybe along with a deep plug ot plug AND tier potting of the seedling/sprout. worth a look. ill hit that next round.3+ LB's with a large strain. thickened up the bottom as I do. the smoothness of the transition of feeding is far smoother imo as little to not burning. Thanks again everyone
okie doke, well had them out top coating them. I wanted them to get a little more yellow believe it or not LMAO to watch the Kind Soil mixed with a potent auto strength soilof mine mixed at 1 five pound bag of KS to a full 5 US gallon Painters bucket full of my soil.then mixed really really well, breaking up all the wee hot balls of stuffs n things. but you'll note that the SCH in the mixed blend (or thicker if you will) with my soil hold more of the nutes and foods and imho guys, its a little bit of a larger strain. and also note, that the Fantasmo Express was in a thicker layer. but only about twice the thickness or a little over that mixed with my soil, but a layer nonetheless. .the no layer or fulll pot layer essentially seems to hold on better. so we'll also see it transform to a brighter green and get a little more explosive growth.. but again.LOL we'll see.
If using the full pot mix, will the KS mixed with roots organic work per your formula? Should I use the same mix to start in a solo cup or thin it out more for early growth. I so badly want to start some seeds in soil.
ok wellI have been working on the two states of theory about the dosage. I understand that it is 1LB per gallon sized container. ok thats where Im leaning towards. since the 1LB per 30 days growth isnt really holding up imho as well as I would like to see. but Im going to head that direction a little heavier. 1LB per gallon sized container. and no real trade gallons, especially if it a larger strain. your going to need that extra.no doubg about it. this has happened to me twice and the top coating pick up is ok, but drags once its further along. but we'll see. Im still not done. will be by the end of this grow I started currently.2 months maybe.till finished fully. I have three going in a fuller mix. a fat 2.5 LB,prolly closer to 2.75LBs actually but smaller strains usually. well dunno about the sky stomper. but the SH and TA are a lil on the smaller side generally speaking. but look stellar so far. slight splotching still but thats kinda the thing since it lacks or almost a constant flash feeding which throws me some. but it works,so we'll see yet. thanks guys
and since she's not taking up as fast or as heavily as I would like to see stall the discoloration,Im going to try a tea. mixed with a fewthings, but mostly the KS and some bokashi n azomite. 24 hour brew at most. prolly closer to 18 and ill water straight.might add a gallon of water at the end with a TBspn of Soluble kelp to the whole 4 Gallon tea. but that'll be all I do. Thanks guys,Interesting to see this work.
