@Waira that DC is nothing like any of the other red family that I've done so far. The individual buds are not those fat, airy buds. You know the actual bud itself that holds the seed? This DC is nothing like those. The purple looks environmental and not at all genetic. I really think its a green pheno. The DC aromantic is the best part. Eucalyptus and pine pitch.

The Fantasmo budz are those perfect little .5 g nugg'z. This one's that smash down perfect in the bowl. The Fantasmo smells like Sangria and cotton candy.

@Bromeo, thanks for the tip on weeds for silica, but no...I have not tried a tea. I dont have a whole lot of time for my garden on any given day, except Sundays, so I'm limited with how much organic tinkering I can get way with. Thats why i decided to run the kindsoil, easy peasy!

yeah I tend to do that since I usually speak as to most have an idea as to what and how I grow,LOl sorry man,I dont like to come at people like theyre new growers n such.and then of course blood pressure the fact my brain never shuts off and i think a mile a minute and get side tracked easily. My bad LOL! I know i do it but I hope many can decipher that here n there buuut LOL! BUT,anywho

the soil is insanely simple man. I have my soil of course which is decent but its thinner atm then I typically like to use it but aside from that you take a quality bagged soil with a small bit of added lime for example as to help buffer the Water and toxins produced in an environment like that.using the kind soil as is as a shallow layer at the bottom of a small pot for autos.or photos too imho since I can totally see it working far superior as well as holding and buffering the feeding zone in the layer for the safety of the plant/roots.. but you add the wee extra lime to a solid bagged soil like dr earts for example, add the lime and maybe some powdered molasses and a fist of rice or pasta(and/or even, half fist of each) and mix the 2.5 Lbs of KS and the soil and add about 8-10 cups of soil and mix all that up then pack that in the bottom, thats how essentially these ones currently Im running are done, just varying levels of thickness of layers and amount of cups and so on.. but the SNOG also was done differently as well.she was mixed with 2.5 LB i believe,I would have to look at the beginning to see what I did use, but took that and mix darn near the whole pot with a plain soil or mine i think just thinned, then potted her up..dug out a fist in the middle and tiered her into a small plug of seedling mix and presto!!. shes so nasty right now shes frigin leaning just heeling over she want to snap or fall over LOL soo I had to shim the pot to stand her straight'ish LMAO!! did that make more sense man? @Waira

Yeah @Pops that water routine sounds great, and that's a good starting pH too.

Fantasmo Express has given me the best pro-looking nugs yet of anything yet. Almost a year in the jar, and I'm still chipping away at the nugs and colas lol. When you get a chance, be sure to try vaporizing some FEx, it brings out some citrusy mint flavors that I didn't detect in the ol' pipe smoke. :p That's gonna be a candidate for when I try dwc, as I really want a years supply of it haha.

I'm starting to get concerned for one of the KindSoil ladies, it's the big Cream Mandarine XL, and is starting to eat another set of leaves. It's only gotten pH'ed water of course, definitely letting it get dry thoroughly between waterings, and I don't see any definitive deficiencies nor any burn. I'll do a full pH readup later.

Anyone else have this?

I'm not buying your idea that acids used to ph water build up in the soil! There is no evidence to support that. the acids used for ph adjustment breakdown, just like everything else. Acidic soil is caused by the plants themselves in the everyday process of of ion exchange thru the roots causing concentraions of acids. What does the roots exchange for mineral ions? Hydrogen ions (H+ ) or Hydroxyl ions ( OH- ). Plants tend to favor H+. This exchange means the plant is actively acidifying the soil at the same time as decomposition of organic matter in the soil ( and organic nutrients etc ), leading to carbonic acid buildup. H+ is acid ( PH= measurement of H+ ). the plant exchanges H+ for amonium and the soil acidifies over time. During flower, plants exchange even more H+ for more K and Mg also acidifying the soil. P uptake does the opposite, but the transport of H+ for the other needs exceeds its nulifying benefit. So it would seem to me, the issue is caused by a very active plant, or the organic matter feeding the soil.
