I'm still not fully convinced that I'm not still screwing something up in my seedling workflow. Even though I have long stretches of perfect germ rates, I get bad rashes of really low rates, while seemingly not changing anything in the flow. I do sterilize everything that touches beans...heck I'm about to start autoclaving everything lol.

It did suddenly come to my attention through research that growers with well water often have much higher levels of natural pythium spores than city treated water (because the chloramine kills the pythium apparently). So that might explain how my beans could be dying right after cracking or planting. But doesn't account for the long stretches of good rates.

nice bro,real nice. I did no till gardening Outdoors in FL. and indoors its just a simply adopted set of basic principles and layer techniques in a sense, and its more of a cold composting trend seasonally but induced to cook and with some worms that'll turn into weeks at most with a fully functioning tote or ID box. LOL rock that shit bro!!

When you find a method that workd for you, and you have repeatable sucess rates, chances are its NOT you! I've grown 4 year old seed, stored in a cigar box, with 80% sucess rate. Nope, I'm calling it, Sweet Seeds has some serious seed issues I think. I'm going to pm them about it and see what they say.

sure ill go grab the camera in a lil bit and try and take a few full body shots. a lil tough with her soooo frosty LOL! great problem to have but ill try and see if I can adjust the lighting some and work a few pics for yaz. oh yeah dude,the MS is down and she smelly lovely crispy sweet and it does. yes'sir it was nighmarish for me to let her ride man noooo doubt LOL! but shes gonna be nice.Im going to save some to smoke ofcourse as well as add to my caps n butters. man I love to set a gathering of growers at a house or rented universal place and meet for a weekend and pass doobies for a cpl days LOL! a few different strains compared by growers from growers of the same exact strains ,MAN that'd be sweeeT!

the labels reference different ways and methods I mixed the layers or the soil itself with my mellow auto mix thats been thinned soo slightly and a thicker layer of the KS with my custom life mix I like un thinned and as with the snog thats exactly what I did to it too,so it would hold the nutrients and foods and stable PH better and so forth as life does and a thicker layer does as well. rice added to some(most in fact) and thats about all I did..nothing crazy or special.nice all thats needed is a quality bagged soil or a nice well composted compost and EWC blend mixed with KS 1:1 and POW!! plug or tier style and off to the races with ya.LOL! now add rice as ive done with the current ones and it should be even better. no worse at any rate and I can live with the SNOG results. and ohhh yes that MS woulda been trophy worthy indeed if she performed like the SNOG which is what I was dying to do buuut LOL! thanks man,appreciated!!

Go for it @pop22, I'm interested to hear what they advise. Yup @Waira more Brimspawn hahaa that sounds like a Marvel comic villian, or a really evil fish species lol. It's still hot as balls in there, but it's holding around 100F daytime. Frankly I have no idea how my plants still look this good at these temps...it's defying some longstanding knowledge about upper temp limits. This might actually be the best my tent has ever looked. Can't imagine any hydro plants looking this good at 100F lol.

This summer though I did ammend my soil with extra seaweeds and some newly found "organic" powdered silica from Kelp4Less.com, well they say it's organic but I mean cmon it's just powdered sand lol... I guess as opposed to chem silicon.

Yeahhhh @Eyes on Fire wanna see how that Amnesia is looking cut up! Hit it with the flash too, I'm curious if it kept any of that blueish hue.

I agree with contacting Sweet Tommy and Jayp about the mutie issue! (You especially Anthro', since you're not buried in seeds like so many others!) ...They will want to know, and they're such fine folks, I'm sure they'll make things right,.. if you have the original packaging, you can give them the lot # which will help out a great deal,.. no process or company is perfect, and shit happens,... Personally I've never had a single issue with their beans in 3 years, but I'm but a very small sample,.. ...during the Sweet LS interview, I was asking Tommy about why Sweet Special had gone away; a superb strain that didn't get 1/4 of the respect and love it should have,... he said there was a breeding SNAFU, and a crappy batch got released, which got back to them soon via shop owners/growers; they recalled the bad batch seeds ASAP, offered comps, but demand took a shit on them because of just one bad batch and word-spread,... now, it's dead for good,..... and a black eye for Sweet, undeserved IMO,...
....Pop22, you'll LOVE the GP! @sniper will sing those Gospels with me! In fact, I think he's grown all 3 versions, photo, F1FV (what I've grown), and auto,.. all were so close in character, it was impressive! aroma, density, crazy resin production,... Mmmm, I'm still smoking on last seasons FV, and it's my weapon of choice for introducing peeps to Sweet!

...Anthro, what were the temp's you had when germ'ing? Too hot will definitely drop the germ rates, and it doesn't have to be by much,...

Yes please, If you fellas have a problem with Sweet Seeds, productively, state your concerns in the Sweets thread or PM them. I too have had issues with other seed vendors and they can't fix it if they don't get feedback. If there is a problem, they need to know and like Waira suggested, if you have the original packaging, take a pic of the batch #'s if they have them.
@Waira Dual Accurate 8 probe shots are stellar man! Max rep for those pics. I love the accurate 8 and would not grow without one! You know more than anyone, that most problems arise in a grow, simply due MOSTLY to ph!

I can take a cpl pics later tonight or in the morning. I just took a few of the SNOG since she was really thirsty. she drinks a lot too. 2 ounce plant dried prolly.maybe a lil more.them buds like before are rock hard.well hard..the sour lemon I have is rock hard LOL! but these snog buds are robust to say the least and very fragrant. the MSA is awesome too.

ok i lied LOL i took a few of the MSA out on my rather large lap desk. the hues might be there after it dries imo. I saw that lightly in the other one I did.

and honestly I wasnt 100% on what you wanted from the SNOG but i took some since she was really dry and easy to move about LOL all wobbly n chit LOL!
