but just to be clear as long as your not over using acids or your water isn't OVERLY acidic or OVERLY alkaline, there should never be a need to ever check your soil PH, especially with a water only system, the PH isn't going to swing drastic amounts

Oh hey just a quick accounting thing: I did repopulate my two stalled seedling pots a couple days ago. Now home to triple potted Tombstone auto regs! Tombstone is (Stone Dragon original x COTC Narcotic Kush), so I'm excited that it might make some great night time insomnia knockout meds. Triple potted again to sex out the males. As of this morning 4 of 6 were poking up above the soil, pics in a day or two when everyones facing skyward. 
Hopefully this will be the last of the seedling startup problems, as I've covered about every hiccup so far lmao!
But hey, problems are just opportunities in disguise!

:smoking: ...yeah, at first the way it looked at the junction base, I thought it was replaceable, but it ain't! Agreed, the other unit is the way to go,.. that fat blunt tip though, seems abusive to the roots to get down in there,... or does this model also have that trick plastic tip for helping penetration? On that subject, how do you deal with this when there's a need to delve down there? Core out a narrow tunnel with a metal tube or something? As been discussed, the trouble zones for pH are more likely to be deeper, and testing directly there is more challenging... this is one reason why I liked how the A8 works, the long reach and fairly narrow probe diameter-- less thrashing of roots! Share with us how you do this, even if with proper pH'ed water and KindSoil it's not really necessary,... but for the sake of others not using it! Seriously man, at the Infirmary, sooo much trouble comes from poor soil pH management, and/or lousy soils! .... I'll check out prices there too, thanks! It's looking like there's not much difference out there,...

I have yet to grow these out myself!! Putting them to F2 this winter and get a few phenos nailed down on em! Most purple strains arent as potent as the white phenos, but any of the Stone Dragon phenos are awesome smoke, so hope they work out well for you @Anthropolis! Let em go 80+ days if you can and you will have your sleepy time meds!!

Oh, she has 3 sisters next to her. That are not purple. I just haven't taken their mug shots yet.
