Starting to get stuff setup today. Got the Kindsoil in the pots and the Roots Organic Original filled in on top of it. I'm going with four Root Trapper II 5 gallon tall variety, but only filling them about 2/3. Bag of Roots Organic is supposed to be 1.5 cubic feet which according to a Google conversion comes out to 11.22 gallons. With a little more after figuring for the two bags of Kindsoil, I figure it should come to roughly 3 gallons and a little total per pot.

I replied one posts above to this

1.5cubic feet of soil is equivalent to 22.5 gallons. 1 cubic foot is 15gals worth. Just learned this the other day since I started working at the local grow shop....@ozone69

Other sources (http://www.kylesconverter.com/volume/cubic-feet-to-gallons-(u.s.-dry)) say it's 9. something for 1.5 cubic feet to dry gallons, Google says 11.something (though admittedly looking now that's for liquid gallons), your boss says 22. From what I'm seeing with the levels of stuff in the pot, I think it's closer to the lower numbers, but truth is I don' really know what the real number is. :baked:

Sooooo.......I'll just say that by my rough calculations, referencing a few different sources for conversion factors, there is approximately somewhere between 3 gallons and 4.x gallons of total growing medium which includes 2.5 pounds of Kindsoil on the bottom in each Root Trapper II pot. :smoking:
