Looking good bro, subbed for the ride, u said your thinking a tent if err when cause it will.definetly become a when u continue this new hobby. I'm halfway thru my first grow and I got a Mars hydro 4×4 tent is get a 4x8 tent right off the bat, cause like I said halfway thru my first grow in which I'm making every newbie mistake in the book I'm already regretting not getting the bigger tent not just for more room to get a nice perpetual going but the space to work inside the tent and move shit around would be invaluable. Any who like I said sunbed for the ride. Toke enjoy

Morning Ya'll.
Seabass here. I've been browsing the web for a month and finally decided to start a grow log (hopefully the right section) on my first grow ever. I'm super excited and can't wait to share and get help along the way. AFN seems like such a cool community of knowledgable and good people. Let's get to it.

Took an old garage cabinet and painted the inside flat white, hung my Marshydro 300w, 127ish true watt, led and got started.

I put about 2.2lbs of KindSoil in the bottom of a fabric 3 gallon pot and topped with HF. Gave it a good soak and let it chill for a few days. My wife thought something died in the garage.
I'll be growing 1 Nirvana Northern Light Auto Female.

I believe this was around day 5, with day 1 being the seedling breaking the surface.

This last photo was just taken. Growth seems really slow. This is day 11. Just watered with 6.5 ph water about 2 cups in a 6" circle around the seedling which I have named Aurora. The light is 24 inches from the top of the plant. Temps have been around 80f with 40% humidity. Should I be concerned with the discoloration and slow growth?

Your plant looks great. It will get a growth spurt. Mine always take off around 18 days when they have a nice root ball then they can use all the nutrients you give them. My garden at 23 days from seed.

Good morning from California everyone. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and checking out my first grow and all the kind words of encouragement. What a cool group of peeps
So my math was a bit off, maybe due to the fire Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG] I'm currently puffing. Today is officially day 10, with day 1 being when "Aurora" peeked out of the soil. So not as slow of a start as I thought. Yay.
First photo is of the nifty little exhaust fan I put in, looks nice and clean, leeks a bit of light but that's not a big concern for me.

Next is the only thing I'll be adding to tap water that has been left out 24hours the entire grow, unless you guys see an issue.

And finally.....Aurora this morning. I was very happy to see some real noticable growth over night. Even seeing her 3rd node just starting to grow.

I watered her 2 cups yesterday so am going to skip feeding today.

Looking good, she's making roots. I've seen the same discoloration in the leaves before, it should grow out of it. Happy growing!
