Morning Ya'll.
Seabass here. I've been browsing the web for a month and finally decided to start a grow log (hopefully the right section) on my first grow ever. I'm super excited and can't wait to share and get help along the way. AFN seems like such a cool community of knowledgable and good people. Let's get to it.

Took an old garage cabinet and painted the inside flat white, hung my Marshydro 300w, 127ish true watt, led and got started.

I put about 2.2lbs of KindSoil in the bottom of a fabric 3 gallon pot and topped with FFHF. Gave it a good soak and let it chill for a few days. My wife thought something died in the garage.
I'll be growing 1 Nirvana Northern Light Auto Female.

I believe this was around day 5, with day 1 being the seedling breaking the surface.

This last photo was just taken. Growth seems really slow. This is day 11. Just watered with 6.5 ph water about 2 cups in a 6" circle around the seedling which I have named Aurora. The light is 24 inches from the top of the plant. Temps have been around 80f with 40% humidity. Should I be concerned with the discoloration and slow growth?

That's all for now, I'll be updated with picture daily if possible. Sending good vibes and a cloud of smoke to all. -Seabass

:smoking:Hey Cannabisman81, thanks for the reply!
I painted the walls flat white as I read in various places that would do a decent job. I plan on getting a tent if this becomes an addicting new hobby, which I foresee. Do you think wrapping the walls would make a big deference? I'm going for as simple as possible for my first grow.

Hi @Seabass Im a newb too. I saw the same slowness at first and then they take off. Its probably developing its root system so give it a little time. Giving them the best environment you can is crucial and I think youre doing great. I didnt see any exhaust or intake on your cabinet. Perhaps some more experienced growers can chime in and tell us the benefits of good air circulation. As far as @Cannabisman81 suggestion, I would agree shiny silver is a bit more reflective than matte white, But you got the right idea. Good growin man and Im excited to see how your efforts pan out.

This was my white widow big bud at day 11 and day 45

@Cannabisman81 My addictive personality is in for a ride, lol!
@savinera thanks for the reply! That first photo was a bit premature. I installed a entertainment center exhaust fan in the top left corner, 100cfm. And a passive air intake on the bottom right. I also have a small oscillating fan inside. The light is on 20/4 while exhaust and fans are on 24/7.
I'm hoping the roots are doing some serious growing right now because the tops a bit behind. I guess time will tell.
Maybe a little classic rock will help her. Cheers.

Flat white is the way to go, Seabass. No foil, and Mylar is a bear to get right... and flat white outperforms it anyways.
Like @savinera said, a stall is nothing to worry about. Your gal is just getting her legs under her.
