Does it drop any stock..coz I'm Thinking pulled pork would do just as well in the rib soup..... :eyebrows:
yes it does...there is a good amount of fat to separate.

If you wanted to juice up the stock you could always add some mirepoix to flavor the stock a bit.
THe pulled pork would make a great, and delicate addition in place of the ribs...or in addition to.
 
I have not...but that looks like something I would love to sit down to a big bowl of:drool: I'll definitely:cheers: be trying that one out...

Everything Finely diced....
Mixed peppers..(or red only.)
1/2 scotch bonnet
1 inch finely chopped ginger..
Carrot/peas/sweetcorn..optional..(it is a sweet soup)...

fat flat rice noodles pre soaked.

Bring the stock up to the boil...drop everything in Except the noodles.

Simmer for 4 minutes...you ain't Killing the veggies..just flavouring the stock....drop the noodles in for 1 minute..and serve.

Thank you for this Auntie:bighug: I've printed it out and will be giving it a try this week. It should be tasty as the pork will be smoked, so should add a bit of depth from that. :pass:

Looks like me and you are cooking @Frankthetank ..thank goodness for paella...it is like the 5 loaves and fishes..:crying:.another one round for lunch..?...just add a bit extra rice to the pan....

If you guys love pork ribs, shoot me a PM! I'll just need to express courier some herb packets to you guys. I'm sure you can procure some light and dark soy sauce as well as some Asian Oyster sauce.

Soup based herbal pork ribs. I promise you've not tasted this anywhere! I hope lol

I Like the delicate taste of rib stock..hubby prefers it with one of those little stock pot jellies in...:headbang:..chefs choice...
Crispy pork edges crumbled on the top....mmmmmm.....
