Its a Spanish rice dish that usually includes rice, saffron, chicken/seafood, and some veggies, and cooked in a shallow pan. If done right the bottom layer gets a bit crispy and delicious.

You got me at rice! We Asians don't mess around when it comes to rice. Staple food for thousands of years my dear growbro!

Now whose leg do I have to hump? I mean who do I need to impress for some paella round here? LOL
 
haha...thats why I haven't gotten around to it. Those sache's sound like an easy way to get the right amount of spice.

The two Boxes on the left rows look similar to what I'm using......:chef:....

I always make extra..great for breakfast..paella ding..microwave up well...and IMO..even better chilled for packed lunches.

Whatever paella is, it looks delicious!

Basically Spanish Stew @Equatorial ..but rice based as opposed to potato based..cheap local produce..including the saffron....:headbang:..peasant food...

Yep...I'll be ordering some of that! We always make extra of anything we cook...if not to be used as lunches or reheating...to repurpose leftovers into a whole new dish. Its kind of fun, too!:thumbsup: this pork I'm making today will most likely be two or three different dishes by the time it is gone. :eyebrows:
 
And we are all better for it...the Asians make some of my favorite foods...all around. :headbang:

Have you Tried the rib/ginger/chilli/noodle soup @Frankthetank ..that one is definitely Worth learning...:chef:
