New Grower Jenny tries again….

basically,in your shoes.waysted 13 weeks on a twin blueberry.one already toilet flushed, the second some 10 days from finish line with estimated pathetic 1/2 oz of fruit.
the only way to lift off these kind of black clouds off our psychy is to home run a good harvest.we both need it.:goodluck:

Looking good I to use the fox farm I break it down a lil to get a better ph adding a worm soil I get from a worm farm gotten some fox farm soil with an out of this world ph but a lil lime works fine also sometimes adding a lighter soil definitely improves a rich mix like fox farm my dad uses it with no additives for years and gets great green chronic

Hey yo, my friends :bighug:

Y'all are the best!!! Love the support and encouragement here at AFN. So many other forums bash and trash talk. We're like a big, happy family :pighug:

In particular, shout out to Nuggz for incorporating :baby:into a post. That never ceases to make me . And Dank J, I wanna be you (or at least your sister). If my dad grew, I'd be like this :jump:. And, Jimy…. You know I feel your pain. But we're gonna knock this next one outta the park! :growing:

Now, on to my girls. Little PK's leaves aren't so twisted today :woohoo:. I watered WC with 1/4 strength Big Bloom. My soil tested at 6.8, the solution was 6.3, runoff was 6.7. Kinda high, I know. Don't worry! I'm not freaking out. But I think it's definitely something I need to keep an eye on.

Much love to y'all and :peace:

Jenny

Ocean Forest. After talking to my guy at the grow shop, I decided to try Happy Frog. He said it was a little less hot than OF.
Careful with it, Jenny, FF quality, especially when it comes to pH, has come under some serious fire. Make sure to keep a sharp eye out.

At what point do you call "Day #1"?
I take day one two ways. First sprout is the birthday, to me, head above ground.
My actual 1st day starts with the first 3 true leave, day one of my feed schedule (different soils, or especially different medium will change this dramatically). I like the feeding day (3 leaf) to be first, it helps me with my nute schedule.

I say they do look small for day 16 /17 not sure about that breeders growth but mine are bigger then that almost a foot maybe and really shoot up around day 20ish .Depends on what day they show sex the longer it takes the bigger it will be..Most autos will veg for a month then flower for 2 and double in height before they finish...Im not trying to bust your bubble but ill keep an eye on it.

Hi all!

Sorry to have been MIA lately. Thanks for checking in on me and the girls. Here's the latest on my white widow cheese and pineapple kush babies.

WWC is on day 39 from the going into soil with a tiny taproot showing. Here she is:

Here is PK on day 29 (they're not in sync because PK #1 didn't make it :sadcry: )
PKday 29.JPG

Until today, they've been under 20/4 6500K 125w CFL. Today, I changed the light over WWC to 2700K and reset the timer (on both) to 18/6.

I feel like my pH readings are ok. The soil in both pots (FFHF) tests out at between 6.6 and 6.8. I'm feeding Grow Big alternating with Big Bloom (1/2 to 3/4 strength doses) and adjusting the pH to 6.3-6.5. I've also given WWC a little CAliMAGic. My runoff has, on occasion, been a bit on the acidic side. It's been as low as 5.9 and as high as 6.4.

Here are my concerns:
PK seems runty and deformed. I don't know if you can tell from the pic, but some of the leaves are kind of misshapen and weird looking. I've started a little LST on her which is why the plant as a whole is off kilter.

I think WWC looks ok, but I feel she should be a little farther along at this point.

Finally, I've seen some (maybe 4 or 5) little gnat-like insects buzzing around in the tent and crawling on the leaves. I don't see any evidence of pest damage on the plants, but it can't be a good thing that they're in there, can it?

Anyway, thanks for following along, and looking forward to hearing what y'all have to say about the situation!

Cheers :toke:
