Jedi Healer - New Strain Project By Anthropolis For PTSD

Looks like an interesting long term project.
Have you begun to figure out how many generations you are from where you want to be?

Good question, I haven't yet no. Initially I was hoping to have the first test cross in a year from the beginning, the F1 I guess, just to get an idea. This is wishful thinking though lol.

It will take to F3 just to get an all-autoflowering line going. From that line is when the really picky business begins, outlining phenos and picking the real new strains' parents.

Probably a couple more generations of picking and hopefully stabilization... Ugh, so maybe 5 generations at minimum from where I hope it to be in my heart lol. In reality, it may be more. I'm trying to be realistic but yet dream strong. I am making it infinitely more difficult for myself by not having a big scale to grow on and not having any male DNA anywhere in the mix lol.

My life has been about proving the impossible possible, so this is normal for me lol.

It will help you reach your goal if you can break down what you are trying to accomplish with each successive grow.
Obviously, everyone breeding hopes to strike that outlier they are looking for right away.
But reality is that is luck, genuine strains usually take hard work and luck.

Hope you do well with each!

Anthropolis why do you have no male DNA to work with? PM me ;)

You're right Grey, I've got each round halfway planned. The goal of this one is just to see how Skywalker performs and to take a few cuttings later before flower. I may try reversing a clone or two of it later, to see how she reverses.

Thanks yodabuds, I'm working with all female DNA since everything in the program at this point is feminized seed. Although, the potential Harlequin source is photo regs, so that could make for an easy cross to introduce a good CBD level with some male DNA. If I went that route, the F1 of that cross would be crossed with Med Gom 1.0 to introduce the auto genes and still retain good CBD. Yet at this moment it's all female DNA with the fun task of reversing the hopefulls.

Started training the faster 2 of the 4-way branches already lol wow.

The Med Gom, burnt and old as heck now lol, still making pollen for collection. :)

Too bad I didn't have anything flowering lol, it's undoubtably been blowing pollen everywhere.

I must say that I had imagened the gom looking worse after being reversed and all that. She/he still looks quite strong apart from the discoloration.

Lol yeah the Med Gom is still actually in good health, despite burning it so bad with STS. I did get a tad overzelous with it and the strength at 1:1 ratio. It's had me strongly likely to go back to the gentler but far more time consuming Tiresias Mist.

Anyway it's got pretty nice genes. If it were burned in any other similar way, like nute / heat / dehydration or some growing fail, it would still produce very nice usable product.

I never mentioned it yet, but each time I mess with it, I get hit with some wonderful arrays of terpenes. Citrus, lemon, and pine are very strong, interestingly some of the terpenes shown to be energetic and anti-depressive.

Swear I'm not giving this one any steroids lol. Just gentle General Organics stuff.
So fast!! All 4 of the FIM outbranches are up to the net, with the lower branches inching up close. Training in earnest shall begin soon.

Alrighty then, the scrog frame and net is done and is erected lmao. I think I did darn good for a first time at it. :)

As you can see, I divided the area into thirds, with the scrogged Skywalker getting 2/3 (actually a few inches more) and my two Sweet Seeds Black Creams getting 1/3.

I put real pvc caps on all the bottom legs so as not to scratch up the mylar spill catcher.

I used zinc coated screw eyelets, a friggin lot of them lol. Spacing is every 2 inches all the way around, so the squares are 2" square. I used the tight tough string from the home improvement store, the options were pink and white, chose pink just for better visibility.

Did some final training on the lower limbs, going to let the grow out for a few days, then unleash them to grow upward. I had mathed the screen out to sit about 6" above the soil, but by the time the parts all went together it was more like 8" lol... likely from the adding of fittings. All good though. :)

There she is, oh just to confirm, if anyone's keeping up this closely lol, she did get another proper 4-way branching at the FIM site. Yay!

They'll be getting their automated watering late tonight, with rainwater. All for now, peace and love.

Nice net............lol! I was too cheap to use eyelets, I used #10 3/4" panhead screws. Got 'em for $1.97 per 100 pack, so I got plenty left...lol! Same string for the same reason, it will be easy to see when working with the plant. I just stuff the branches under the net when the grow up thru it enough. O'll be following along, good to see another person venture into this type of growing!

:Sharing One:
