Hi friends, thought I would highlight my super mega organic topdressing in case anyone is curious or wants some tips.
These ammendments and more are layered in as I add the soil to the pot, with care given as to the ingredients of each layer as it pertains to where the plant will be in growth as the more roots reach that layer.
For example, especially with auto's, one would put little to no Seaweed fertilizer in the bottom layer or two, since that's high in Nitrogen. When the auto is full bloom, more roots will be reaching the lowest layers, and you want very little N in full bloom as it could stunt or limit flowering.
Conversely, Gypsum rock powder is very high in Calcium, which plants will want desperately when young and during the couple big growth/stretch phases. They'll need it less late in bloom, so more Gypsum would be added to upper layers. Similarly, amendments with more P and K would be used in lower layers, as those macros are needed more in bloom.
The list of everything I layer in is far too long to list here, I've got a running list of it all listed somewhere lol. At this time I'm doing the topdressing in similar fashion. The basic idea is to sprinkle the ammendments around the topsoil, then mix it in gently, then water it in. Even though it's organic, care should be taken not to get any on the leaves.
I'm using Espoma products, Greenbelt Seaweed Fertilizer (which they're now calling "plant food" instead of fertilizer and appear to have changed the formula for much less N than my bag http://www.greenbeltorganics.com/products/seaweedfertilizer.html mine has N=5 while it appears the one on the website has N=1), and various web-sourced and locally sourced goodies.

Sprinkled around:
Espoma Garden Tone
Espoma Kelp Meal
Espoma Greensand
Espoma Cottonseed Meal (just a little bit)
Gypsum rock powder
Epsom Salt (just a pinch)
Greenbelt Seaweed Fertilizer
Viastrap powdered molasses
Neem cake meal
Spread it around, mix it gently with a plain fork, and water it in! If you're between waterings, that's okay. No need to interrupt your water cycle, it'll just get watered in with the next go. As for another tip, turn off your circulation fans, some of those powders can blow everywhere lol! Not that it would hurt anything much or at all, you just want control.

These days I'm no longer adding any myco/bacto specifically to the topdressing, as I'm putting a bunch in when planting, and it works better to have that suspended in water anyway. Hope this is helpful to anyone or gives ya some ideas.
