Indoor Jean-0's Genetics 2020

The weekend is upon us sweet! Crazy shit going on with corona virus really makes me want to push for more self sustainability!

Kids, good luck ..... We are getting all kinds of vegetable and flower seeds going, nice garden planned this year ..... Of course a few girls as well ..... Thus far our area has been lucky, no reports but that could change in a NY Minute BUT with warmer weather coming the virus should slow down and we will defeat this devil .... Good luck this year and be well!

I am on a mandatory government 3 week lock down we can go to the grocery store and to the gas station but a lot of places shut down for the 3 weeks my shop I guess could have stayed open but I'm doing pretty good financially and didn't want to take any unnecessary risk. Trying to get unemployment set up not enough weed in the world for this task LOL. Kids have actually been quite a bit of help so far with tearing down the house its moving pretty quick in the past 3 days since ive been off. Im hoping lowes or menards is still open right now I need a few things to finish off the new garden set up for the year and would like to get that done during this time as well..... Lots of work to keep me busy just as long as I get back to work before I tap out the bank account.

Bored as FUUUUUCKKKK rainy ass cold day cant work outside on tearing down the house nothing open around nothing to do damn plants are growing to slow I'm ready to get outside and do some work. I was able to get to menards apparently they are a necessary place to keep open like the grocery store ? LOL! Anyways I paid with cash and the cashier looked at me like I was crazy then looked at the cash so I put it down on the counter top not like it wasn't just in my hand duh! Anyways I got the supplies I needed to finish off the extension on the garden this year since I decided to go out not up this year and more smaller plants with a few big trees. I still need to hit up the grow store but they are closed for the time being I could order off amazon but the delivery dates are at the end of april now the light I ordered isn't going to get here till the 30th of april now even though when I ordered it, it was said to arrive march 31 so amazon is apparently backed up from all this crazy shit from the virus. Glad I got all my seeds already for the grow season for the veggie garden probably got enough for the next few years on the veggie seeds...

Had same with amazon but ordered - end of April, anyways, now they have shipped - better days are ahead

Stay focused and safe - concentrate on tasks at hand and even in the rain, plant some lettuce or radishes, they can handle cold weather - chard another excellent choice for quick harvest and summer accent color .... be well.

I like your positivity thanks!

I went out and spent about 7 hours working in the 2 gardens yesterday. I got my secondary fence put up for the vegie garden which is where I plan to run most of my auto's mixed in with the tomato and pepper plants. Im curious if growing around different things such as fruit plants, pepper plants, or herbs might change the terps in the cannabis. Any hows I wanted to share some of the amazing view I get down at my grow pen...I got a few pics of my water source also the creek that flows through my yard that I pull water from. Ive had the tarps down killing off the grass under them since the snow melted I still have to grab some cardboard from work so I can cut some holes in it and grow the plants up through the holes so I dont have to do any tilling this year and hopefully no weeding either. I had a bunch of left over camo burlap I laid down to my plans are to cut holes in that also and grow up through it. I am going to get a bunch of wood chips for covering the cardboard and burlap to also help with weeds and bugs probably cedar chips I have read they work good for a deterrent. Anyways I made up a bunch of grow cages yesterday for tomatoes and peppers and what not got the fences fixed up I had to add a few posts as I had them too spaced out and the fences were drooping. I have been charging the soil with used coffee grounds and happy frog fruit and flower already I still need to get to the grow store and pick up a few things but for the most part these gardens are just about ready to go since this year I am going with a no till style in both gardens that has already saved me a bunch of hard work..

Its a pretty good sized garden this year dont think Ill need to go much bigger any more...I've got a bunch of left over chicken fence and I'm thinking about making some kind of elevated platform out of it to try to use to grow my melons on top of instead of letting them grow right on the ground. Maybe cut a hole in the center of the fence so the plant can grow out and have a raised platform about 6 to 8 inches off the ground made from the chicken fence that the vines can then grow out on to. Last year I had bugs eat into my watermelons on the side that was resting on the ground which has triggered this thought about the raised platform with the chicken fence to grow out on to. But maybe just the cardboard and cedar chips will do last year they grew right out into the grass which I think was really the problem. Ill be double caging the marijuana plants this year that I plan on growing big as last year I had an OG Kush that got knocked over because it got to big and I had a heavy rainy windy night that pulled it down about 2 weeks early on me ripped the 1 cage and the trellis netting out along with 6 bamboo poles so this year double cage if not triple cage on the big girls. I still have a few more cages to build and I have to make a swing gate door for the outer cage so a little bit more work but all in all I'm ready to plant hopefully in 2 to 3 weeks i'll be in the ground for the 2020 season !!!

Thank you. I have definitely been blessed with an amazing grow spot the nature that surrounds me is awesome. Last year I caught on my trail camera a wolf stalking 4 deer in my back yard it was crazy it was a set of like 20 images of the deer walking in then some glowing eyes in the back ground then a form of a big ass dog then you could see the wolf then the deer were running away with it chasing them very cool set of pictures. You don't see very many wolfs where I am so getting some pics of one stalking some deer was very lucky. We do get some links or small bob cats every now and then you can usually spot them after the corn fields get picked early in the mornings. Most people don't think we have animals like that in Michigan but then again most people don't go out into the woods either hard to find wild life setting on your couch lol. I have even run across wild bore here that shit scared the hell out of me as I was with a buddy walking out in the woods looking for mushrooms and we came up on one rutting out in the woods those things can get very aggressive but luckily that one didn't spot us and we got out of their quick. Hopefully the fences help keep the deer and other wild life out of the gardens though I had something eating up on a lot of my veggies last year.

Love the creek, nice water source ..... also I like the sheet mulching approach, for sure no till is way to grow ....

For each plant I just prepare each individual area ...... I’ll rake up top soil and form a mound, then take my pitch fork and push into ground and mix up soil and some peat moss and Black Cow, like 1/4 bag black cow per hill - mix again we want the sand in the black cow plus get cow poop too ..... then pull back and put some bone meal down into hole and cover / hill up - then - I’ll screen some compost or rich top soil for seed bed or if transplant I’ll just plant and water then comes the straw mulch around plant ..... mulch, mulch and more mulch is the key to no till - keep feeding the soil / worms and the bigger variety the better - get fall leaves and straw are two easy to get ingredients along with farm yard manure of course if you can secure ....

Aslo visit local feed store and get a bag or two of alpha pellets and spread some around each plant and get some bales of straw while you are there and a bale or two of alpha while you are at it ...... and while at feed store get some kelp, I buy it by the 50lb. Bag .... feed store has lots of goodies such as soy bean meal - explore .....

Cedar Chips work very well, get a dump truck or two and spread ..... Watch cardboard glue content and be sure to use only brown cardboard, cardboard from Walmart or appliance stores works very well ..... for melons they actually have a melon basket you can set fruit on to get up / off the ground - you can probably fashion some sort of holder, weight would be the key .......

Few pics of garden showing the mounds I build, cedar mulch, repurpose old antenna and sticks into tepees and some perlite in soil for plants that need loose soil such as carrots ..... good luck this year, you had some monsters last year and I sure hope we have dry October for you, that sucked last year too much rain at the end.
