Indoor Jean-0's Genetics 2020

I've got a ton of cardboard at the shop I want to bring home and replace where the tarps are so I can cut hole in it and plant in the holes so I don't have to weed anything the cardboard will allow the rain and moisture to get through and help keep it in. Ill get some cedar chips and put that on top of the cardboard so that the garden doesn't look trashy... Hopefully I plan on getting some stepping stones out their and Id like to get a wooden bridge built for going over the creak also. All sorts of good stuff. This will be my first attempt at a no till garden so I'm sure to mess some things up LOL I cant complain though so far I haven't run the tiller at all and that's a plus in my book! Ive got all sorts of goodies around the yard to compost with so another plus...

Super windy out today blowing shit I got going on everywhere I had to go out and fix one of the doors on my shed I put up last year the damn wind broke the lock on the door and it flew open and got ripped right off the hinges. But I got it fixed and back on. Its a day I'm glad I dont have plants out growing in... Another reminder to cage double cage triple cage and trellis your plants... Supporting big plants and making the plant feel secure is the only way to get huge buds on a plant. If the plant feels it cant support the weight it wont put it on. Huge stalks and deep roots will only do so much without a cage and trellising a plant will never be able to stack heavy flowers.

Like the bridge and steppers - will look super .......

It takes time to develop a no til garden as it’s the layers of mulch breaking down and the worms taking over the work ...... Mentime mulch and when you plant simply pull mulch back and work some peat moss and bone meal into the site and form hill above scraping and inch or two of good soil from around area - would hurt to pick up some cheap garden soil, not potting soil, cheapest garden soil and mix with peat moss and your own dirt - again work some bone meal in hole first - don’t sprinkle on top, it will attract animals, bury it ..... by making the mounds and investing just a little peat moss and bagged soil ...... invest in some straw too, a bale goes a long ways and .... for potatoes take a look at this - gal gardened into her 80’s NAKED ..... she has lots of books but it boils down to mulch, mulch and more mulch ..... that’s the key, Mulch - https://homeguides.sfgate.com/stout-method-planting-potatoes-68189.html

Man I made some kick ass edibles today.... Made some gummies using 6 grams of decarbed rosin.Turned into 20 bite sized gummies MMMMMM. strong as fuck!!! I usually use 3 to 4 grams on a heavy batch I figured with the lock down with 4 kids I needed the extra kick! I'm ready for nite nite LOL. I honestly feel like i'm floating right now its great! I'm honestly not smoking as much any more I'm only about 2 to 3 grams a day now instead of say a quarter a day so I really dig the new rosin edibles I was wanting to cut back on smoking as I've been a smoker for 24 years of weed and cigs been trying to cut back on both and doing better. I was thinking about over my time off making more topical creams but using the rosin this time instead of kief or hash. Seems like it would work better. Any ways finally got my unemployment finished crazy shit only took me like 4 days and an oz of weed to get filed a week late LOL. Fuck it its done at least.

Ya man I hear the trying to smoke less I've actually been making rso oil and I love it u buy a few 1ml oral syringe, that will give u the ability to dose the same dose over and over. I now have only been taking 3 or 4 dabs a day in comparison to double or triple that when I don't eat it .

So I made some bubble hash again yesterday and wanted to go over how I make bubble hash. Bubble hash is a great way to use up any left over or undesirables off your grow. In this round of hash I used fresh freeze from my 2019 outdoor grow. Bye fresh freeze I mean I grabbed the flower and leaf right off the tree and while it was still wet I put it into the freezer so the flower was never dry. This method works great but as my personal opinion I prefer to use dried material as I think it yields better returns. On the other hand the fresh freeze has a bit better flavor and gives a totally different buzz. Things you will need to make hash. ( I forgot to picture it but I also add 1 cup of 99% isopropanol to my mix to make sure I don't get any mold or mildew into my hash. I do this because I use an outdoor crop for materials that may or may not contain a bit of pm or mold. I isopropanol will clean any contaminants from the hash) This is a tric I learned from a guy who owns a legal medicinal operation and he said they use all materials even stuff they know to have mold or rot but they just clean it with the isopropanol.
1) a 7 lb bag of ice works well for me sometimes you may need to add a bit more mid mix if your temps are hot.

2) A hash bag set. I prefer to use a 5 bag set. A mixing bag, a buffer bag that catches bigger particles I never keep anything from the 1st bag and then 3 collection bags that I keep the materials I collect from the last 3 bags. You can use a 8 or 10 bag set but its a lot of extra work for little to no extra return.

3) 5 gallon bucket with bags stacked on top of each other with your mixing bag being the top layer in the 5 gallon bucket

4) A catch bucket to place your ice and material into after you do a mix and are screening out your other bags I use this second bucket to catch any water or runoff from the mixing bag while I strain out the other bags.

5) A screening bucket that I like to place in the sink. I use this bucket upside down and use it to open my hash bags inside out and it helps me to collect the hash as you will see in a later pic.

6) Pre frozen material. This can be fresh freeze, dried and cured then frozen, it can be all trim, all sugar leaf, sticks, stems, you name it pretty much any material except for just plate leafs. This material is fresh freeze from my outdoor crop in 2019 lots of buds and leaf some stems to. I would say if this were dry its probably close to 2 maybe 2 and a half oz of materials.

7) When I fill my ice, water, and material into my bucket I like to add half of the material first then ice then material then ice then finally I add water to just under the top of the ice and water mixture.
DSCN0954.JPG

8) You will need something to stir with. I like to use a golf club as it swishes the water around very nice. Now the object is to swirl the water and Ice around the material in ur bucket and gently knock off the trichomes ( the object is not to grind the material through the screens as this will just produce bunk nasty hash with a lot of leaf material in it. I usually mix for roughly 20 to 30 minutes each run before trying to collect any materials.
DSCN0955.JPG

9) After working your materials for 20 to 30 minutes you should see a foamy mixture like this. Ever wonder why its called bubble hash? If done correctly you will get lots of foamy bubbles in your bag that lift the trics from the material.

10) Now for that 3rd bucket. I place the bubble bag on top of the bucket then fold the bag inside out for collecting the material. I like to use a regular dinner spoon for collecting but I like to keep the spoon in the freezer so its cold which makes releasing the hash from the spoon easier.
DSCN0959.JPG

11) This is after I mixed the 3 bags after my first run. I prefer to mix all my materials together for an evenly potent hash mixture.
DSCN0960.JPG

12) After 4 runs just over 2 hours of time and a little elbow grease I have my end yield. As of this morning its pretty dry and the tally weight is 12.5 grams. Note for quicker drying make sure to use a towel and your screen mat and press the water from your hash before you break it up into smaller peaces for drying. Ive probably got close to a gram of water weight still in their so lets say 11.5 grams total from roughly 2 oz not the best ive done but not bad either. My hash bags need replace they have some holes in them and the screens are getting nasty even though I clean them after every run they do go bad after a while so its probably time for me to order some new bags.

Their it is though how I make hash... I will be turning this into rosin later today probably.

So I pressed out a total of 21.5 grams of hash into 13.5 grams of rosin today for a return of 62.8 %. I pressed 3 separate runs 1st run of 5.1 g at 184 deg. F a second run of 8.2 g at 190 F and a third run of 8.2 at 195 F the third produced very sticky and hard to retrieve rosin and had the least % of return. I press for 150 seconds every time and gradually apply the pressure so that the material can warm up it seems to help with blow outs. Im using 90 micron 2x4 bags from the press club off amazon. The hash rosin is always pretty dark and sticky I like the lighter color that the flower gives off.

Just got 4 teeth pulled that rosin looks really good right now
Ouch! I had all my teeth pulled about 3 years ago went to Aspen Dental (They Suck) they pulled 20 teeth in like 2 hours then I had to put my denture plates in for I think the rest of the night on top of my open bleeding gums they didn't stitch me up no pain killers they told me to take 2 motrin LOL. I had bad teeth my hole life so I feel for ya bud. Dentures do look nice though, Pain in the ass when you forget about them! Do you have to get dentures now or were they some back teeth? I went with my front top 2 teeth being broken for like 4 years before I could afford dentures It sucked I wouldn't smile for nothing.

I have 5 teeth left so I will be getting dentures soon still got one that has to come out soon they told me that I had teeth of a 65yr old when I was 13yrs old lol so I new this was coming lol today they feel good though much better than the twitching nerve pain so glad that's done, nerve shit ain't no joke I thought the degenerative disc dieses and nerve pain associated with things getting pinched it's bad but infections on or near nerves is even worse. Anyway I think I'm going to pop some of the c99 and gorilla photos outdoors this year and see how they do it's hard for the outdoors bc I can't ever get more then 6hrs to 8hrs of direct sunlight so this year I'm going to look for new places. Quick ? on the rosin do you like lower temps or higher? for me the rosin tastes like the left over flower smells from a volcano or similar quality vape do u notice this, and which temp was most flavorful?
